①Read the instructions and the main contents in 3a.Ask several students to tell their luckiest/unluckiest day.
②Get the students to write down their details in the chart.

2.Finish the task in 3b
①Read the key points in 3b.
②Write their stories on their own.Use their details in 3a.

Activity 1
①Teach the class to finish the task in this way.
First,read through the passage and get the main idea of it.Next,choose the words according to the contest.Pay attention to the word forms.Then,read the passage again and check the meaning and the spelling.
②Fill in the blanks on their own.The teacher walks around.
③In groups,check and correct the work with each other.
