不定式(to do)用来修饰谓语动词(说明动作的“目的”),相当于一个“副词”的功能。

不定式(to do)意为“为了……”,常可转换为 in order to或so as to do(so as to 不用于句首)。

→用“to catch”说明“gets up early”的目的。

(3)关键判断依据
去掉“to do”后,句子的“主语+谓语”是完整的。比如 “She gets up early”(她早起)本身是完整句子,“to catch the bus”只是补充 “早起”的目的,这就是状语的作用。
2.不定式作宾语补足语
(1)核心定义
当句子中有 “主语+谓语+宾语” 后,宾语的动作或状态还不完整,需要用 “to do(或省略 to 的 do)” 来补充说明,这个 “to do/do” 就是宾语补足语(简称 “宾补”)。

常用 “谓语动词+宾语+to do”(部分动词可省略 to),常见动词分两类:

(3)关键判断依据
去掉 “to do/do” 后,句子的 “宾语” 会显得 “意义不完整”——比如 “My mom asks me”(妈妈让我),没说 “让我做什么”,加上 “to clean the room” 才完整,这就是宾补的作用。
