The College Cafe offers free Wi-Fi for students. ______ You can surf the Internet for free while studying here.
A. It provides free Internet access
B. It sells cheap coffee
C. It has comfortable seats
定义:用意思相反的词形成对比,常搭配but/however/while等转折词
例句:
Some students prefer to study alone in the library. ______ Others enjoy group discussions in the classroom.
A. Introverts 内向者focus better alone
B. Extroverts 外向者 love working with others
C. Students need quiet environments
解析:前文study alone(独处学习)和后文group discussions(小组讨论)是反义逻辑,选项 A. Introverts(内向者)对应独处人群,与后文Others形成反义对比,完美呼应。

For well over a hundred years the most influential English dictionary was Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary of the English Language published in 1755.“To make dictionaries is dull (乏味) work,”wrote Johnson, illustrating one definition of “dull”.40. A few minutes spent casting your eye over a page or two can be a rewarding experience.
A.I don’t often use this dictionary.
B.It takes no account of the context.
C.But I still don’t want to replace them.
D.But a dictionary can be a pleasure 愉悦 to read.
错误:把that(同类不同物)和it(同一物)搞混
正确:it指代同一个事物,that指代同类不同的事物(如 The weather here is better than that in Beijing.)
代词指代有规律,单复数先分清;
