字母o的发音高频易错点01
Tom lost his dog.
It’s not in the clock shop,
Not in the soft box,
Not on top of the rock.
Look, the dog is with the frog.
They got a hot dog.
Stop! The hot dog drops.
易错点提示
o:1. 发长音 /əʊ/ (类似中文“哦”的音)
- 规则 :在开音节中(以元音结尾或以“辅音+不发音的e”结尾),字母o发其本身的音 /əʊ/。
- 例词 :go, no, home, nose, note。
- 记忆技巧 :开音节中的o像在唱歌,嘴巴张得大大的,声音也长长的。
2. 发短音 /ɒ/ (类似中文“凹”的音)
- 规则 :在重读闭音节中(以单个辅音字母结尾),字母o通常发短音 /ɒ/。
- 例词 :dog, box, hot, clock。
- 记忆技巧 :闭音节中的o像被关在小屋里,嘴巴张得小小的,声音也短短的,可以用手势辅助,比如做一个“关门”的动作来记住这个短音。
3. 发/ʌ/ 音 (类似中文“啊”的音)
- 规则 :当字母o位于m, n, v, th等字母前面时,通常发 /ʌ/ 音。
- 例词 :mother, son, love, some, month。
- 记忆技巧 :可以用一句有趣的口诀来记忆这些字母:“妈妈(mother)爱(love)儿子(son),有些(some)月份(month)真辛苦。” 这样通过具体的场景就能轻松记住这些特例了。
4. 发短音 /ʊ/ (类似中文“木”的音)
- 规则 :当字母o与字母组合成“oo”,并且后面紧跟字母k, d, t时,发短音 /ʊ/。
- 例词 :book, good, look, cook, foot。
- 记忆技巧 :同样有一个实用的口诀:“oo放在k前要短音。” 另外,还有几个特殊的单词如foot, wood, wool, wall也发此音,可以单独记住它们。
5. 发长音 /uː/ (类似中文“鸥”的音)
- 规则 :字母组合“oo”在大多数情况下发长音 /uː/。
- 例词 :zoo, food, cool, school, room。
- 记忆技巧 :可以结合上面的短音规则来记,既然“k前短音”是特例,那么其他情况下的“oo”就发长音。或者记住“oo发物(wu/uː/)最常见”。
6. 弱读音 /ə/ (类似中文“呃”的音)
- 规则 :在非重读音节中,字母o的发音会被弱化。
- 例词 :today, computer, carrot。
- 记忆技巧 :记住一个原则,在单词中不重读的音节里,o通常就读这个弱音。

1. 问时间: “What time is it?”(几点了?)不能写成 “What’s time is it?”。
2. 整点表达: “... o’clock” 只用于整点(如 7:00, 12:00)。非整点(如 7:15)不能加 o’clock。
3. 介词 at: 在具体时间点前用介词 at。
· 例句:It’s seven o’clock. (整点)
· 例句:I go to school at eight o’clock. (具体时间前用at)

易错点提示
1. 顺读法(直接读): 先读小时,再读分钟。7:15 → seven fifteen;3:45 → three forty-five。
2. 逆读法(半小时内): 分钟 + past + 小时。7:05 → five past seven。
3. 逆读法(半小时外): 分钟 + to + 下一个小时。10:50 → ten to eleven (差10分11点)。
· 例句:It’s seven fifteen. (顺读)
· 例句:It’s ten to twelve. (逆读,差10分12点)
