Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
During our childhood, we had cultural shows at school where singing, dancing, dramas and speeches were performed by the school students.Among many such programs that took place in the school, one drama actually made me laugh a lot.
It was a drama called Cinderella that actually turned out to be very comical. The person who directed that drama seemed to mainly train the students to memorize the dialogues which were well performed by them.
But what did the performers wear? While Cinderella was a cute little girl, she did not wear anything beautiful at the ball. She wore house slippers (拖鞋), and one of her slippers couldn't come off her foot when she was running away after midnight from the ball. She tried many times to take it off and finally it dropped and she ran away from the stage.
That missing slipper was found by a prince, who was actually a girl, dressed up as a boy but not looking like a boy.She held it up.Feeling a deep sense of shame, she acted her part showing it to the audience.More mistakes in the drama were that Cinderella's stepsisters were poorly dressed too at the ball and neither her stepsisters nor their mom looked like bad guys.
In the end, a fairy tale drama turned out to be a funny play and everyone had hearty laughs.Since it could give so much fun to the audience, it was not altogether a failure. And the audience laughed loudly as the drama ended, giving performers encouragement.
Cultural programs like this are needed for school students.Students don't need any special skills and the programs don't have to be fully perfect. They need to be organized in schools so that students can take part, share laughs and free their minds.

Are three-minute commentaries destroying movies? A prominent Chinese film director said in a recent interview that he hoped the audience would see a movie in cinemas instead of watching three-minute commentaries.
Three-minute commentaries are similar to short videos, which summarize the main plots of films by breaking two-or-three-hour films into pieces and cutting them to just a few minutes. These commentaries are winning increasing popularity on many short-video platforms since they allow viewers to easily develop an illusion (错觉) that they have watched dozens of movies.
These concentrated commentaries may be a good fit for fast-paced modern life and meet people's needs for efficient entertainment. However, films are not only an industry but also a form of art. Movies become classics not only because of the outline of the story, but, more importantly, because of delicate expressions of emotion, diverse camera aesthetics, as well as complex travel through time and space. Sometimes, these things can only be felt and can't be expressed in words. How can a clip of just a few minutes deliver these things?
Moreover, these contents sometimes infringe the copyrights of the original movie. The editing process also includes the creator's own opinions, thus leading to the misunderstanding of the original movie's plots and themes. The China Film Administration has announced it will carry on with its crackdown (打击) on copyright infringement while at the same time advocating the legal use of film copyrights by short videos in film promotion, commentaries and research.
Some people agree with that director. They argue that only by seeing a movie in the cinema can one really experience its beauty. Others, however, have given credit to movie commentaries, arguing that they increase the popularity and influence of good movies, helping audiences better understand them while also finding out bad movies, helping audiences avoid them. Audiences' decision to watch a movie in a cinema depends on their tastes. If they choose not to sit in front of the big screen, it's not necessarily the fault of movie commentaries.

How Star Wars Changed Movie-making Forever
“May the force be with you!” If you are a Star Wars fan, then you have probably heard this phrase many times.__9__ So many characters, devices, and phrases from the movie have become well-known. But you might be surprised to find out how much this movie has changed how movies are made.
“A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ...” is how Star Wars begins. __10__ In fact, it was quite old-fashioned. The story was typical science fiction with lots of drama, traditional characters and good battling evil, in space and in hand-to-hand fight.
__11__ People still talk about the light swords (剑) that could cut, burn and melt through most substances. Spaceships sped through space and landed on huge, realistic-looking space stations. __12__ When Star Wars first came out in 1977, most movie theaters were stand-alone buildings, with just one movie screen. Using the money Star Wars had made for them, movie-theater owners built more theaters, leading to the multiplexes (多影厅影院) that are common today.
Theaters needed more movies to show on all the additional movie screens and in all the new multiplexes. So new movie companies sprang up, including small ones creating experimental movies. This creative freedom allowed fresh approaches to emerge. __13__ But, thanks to Star Wars, people got to see new types of movies.
A.Its plot was not ground-breaking.
B.Moviegoers had never seen anything like it.
C.Some of the methods became popular and others failed.
D.Thus, audience began to enjoy science fiction movies there.
E.If you are not a fan, you are still likely familiar with these words.
F.If you are a movie maker, you may be inspired by this classic film.
G.It was the special effects that made Star Wars stand out from other movies.
