B.What bad habits teenagers usually have. C.Why bad habits should be changed. D.How teenagers change their bad habits. 2.Why does the author quote Aristotle’s words? The “habit cycle”, a great way of forming or getting rid of a habit.  2.Will you use the habit cycle to break your bad habits? Why or why not? Yes, I will. Because the habit cycle combined with positive ideas is really a good way of getting rid of bad habits or developing good habits. According to the cycle, for example, one must first identify the bad habit, then replace it with a more positive routine, and lastly get “reward” from the routine. 1.For example, some of them may become involved in tobacco or alcohol abuse, which can lead to physical and mental health problems. 2.To prevent harmful habits like these from dominating a teenager’s life is essential. 提能训练 (1)单句语法填空 ①I will try to make it known to every teacher and more students involved (involve) in the activities organized by the club. ②If you like, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice on the bananas will prevent them from turning (turn) brown. (2)完成句子 ③Eating too much ice cream may lead to stomach problems. ④Participating in the arts is essential for child development. 1.These bad habits, if left unchecked, could lead to more serious ones when they become adults. 2.The good news is that we can change, if we understand how habits work. 提能训练 ①(完成句子)Another advantage is that it is easy for visitors to find. ②(句型转换)When we were led out of the forest, Steve and I repeatedly stammered our heartfelt thanks to him. (用省略句改写) →When led out of the forest, Steve and I repeatedly stammered our heartfelt thanks to him. As the Chinese philosopher Laozi wrote, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” 提能训练/完成句子 ①As an old saying goes, “Attitude decides everything.” ②As Confucius said, “Isn’t it always a pleasure to greet a friend from afar?” Firstly, there is a “cue”, ... Secondly, there is a “routine”, ... Thirdly, there is the “reward”, ... Firstly, you should keep calm. Secondly, you can talk to your parents. Thirdly, you should call your friend up and say sorry to him/her. 4 Ways to Get Rid of Habits that Are Holding Your Life Back Everyone has some bad habits that they would like to break free from.
