Fly South in Autumn
Every year, before winter, orange and black monarch butterflies leave Canada and the north of the US. They travel about 3,200 kilometers south to Mexico, and live in the warm forests (森林). They are like big green umbrellas, keeping the butterflies warm.
Fly Back North in Spring
When spring comes and it gets warmer in Canada and the north of the US, the butterflies fly back to lay eggs (产卵). After that, they die (死亡). Once the eggs hatch (孵化), new butterflies come out.
