教材分析
本课时是外研版三起点五年级上册第二模块第一单元第二课时。围绕“She learnt English.”这一话题展开,主要通过对话学习词汇“learnt,taught,language,wrote,dancer,foreign”及一般过去时态的表达。本课时包括Listen, read and act out.,Listen and say.和Practise.三个板块。Listen, read and act.为大家呈现了玲玲向Sam和Amy展示自己爷爷奶奶的照片,Lingling拿出一张奶奶年轻时的照片,对Sam和Amy说,自己奶奶从前是一位舞蹈演员,她曾经在中国许多城市演出,而且学过英语。随后,Lingling又展示了一张爷爷年轻时的照片告诉Sam和Amy,自己爷爷从前是一名司机,他虽然没有学过英语,不过现在再学习英语;Listen and say.呈现了过去的生活状态和现在的生活状态的一种对比。该部分也贴近学生的实际生活,然后结合practise一起,更能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。Practise.是Listen and say的复制版,根据Listen and say来进行练习今夕的对比。学生可以通过这个活动将前3部分所学的词汇和句型描述自己的活动,做到学以致用。
学情分析
对于五年级的学生,教师在单词或词组的教学中,不能只是教读单词或词组。要循序渐进的插入本单元的重点句子,让学生在记单词或词组的过程中熟悉句子。这样能满足不同学习水平的学生的学习要求。根据学生的个人素质、性格特点、记忆力、反应速度等,因材施教,分层要求,以求通过最有效的激励机制促进学生进步。最后,在今后的每一节课中都要灵活运用所学句型,请学生造句,培养学生的创新意识。
教学目标及教学重点、难点
语言知识目标:新单词learnt,taught,language,wrote,dancer,foreign等。着重注意这些单词的发音。
学习Did you/he/she +动词原形...?的语言结构,并会使用Yes,I/he/she did.No,I/he/she didn’t.作答。
语言技能目标:(1)学习理解be动词的过去式was、were的用法。
(2)基本能理解并使用一般过去时。
(3)熟练掌握所学句型,灵活运用到生活中。
文化意识:了解世界上主要的文娱和体育活动。
情感目标:激发学生的学习热情,进行文明礼仪教育,感染学生,对其进行中华美德孝顺的教育。

2.课文教学
T:We know Lingling is still in England with Sam and Amy.She misses China and her grandma.Lingling is looking at some photos.Do you know what her grandparents are like?What are they?Now listen and find the answers to the following questions.
(1)Did Lingling’s grandma learn English?
(2)Did Lingling’s grandpa learn English?
(3)What is Lingling’s grandpa doing now?
播放第一遍录音,进行课文的整体呈现。

(1)完成SB第一单元活动3,教师先做示范,然后同桌之间练习对话。
(2)Game: “Guessing Game”:学生们三人,两个背对背,另一个与其一面对面。面对面的一个做动作一个问,背对的同学猜“Yes or No”,如下:

一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
二、构成及变化
1.be动词在一般过去时中的变化
am 和is在一般过去时中变为was;are在一般过去时中变为were;否定句在was或were后加not,一般疑问句把was或were提前。
2.行为动词在一般过去时中的变化
肯定句:主语 + 动词的过去式。I watched TV last Sunday.否定句:主语+ didn’t + 动词原形。I didn’t watch TV last Sunday.一般疑问句:Did + 主语 + 动词原形?Did you watch TV last Sunday?Yes,I did.No,I didn’t.
动词过去式变化口诀
过去式,不难记
一般直接加-ed
