A Survey on the Use of Smart Apps
Recently, our group conducted a survey among 50 classmates to investigate the use of language learning apps. The results are as follows.
According to the pie chart, App 1 is the most popular among students, accounting for 31% of the total. App 2 ranks second with 21%, followed by App 3 and App 4, which make up 19% and 10% respectively. Other apps account for the remaining 19%.
There are several reasons for this popularity. Firstly, App 1 is highly praised for its rich learning resources and user-friendly interface. Secondly, many students find App 2 very efficient for vocabulary memorization.
As far as I’m concerned, these apps have greatly facilitated our language learning. They provide us with a convenient and flexible way to study anytime and anywhere. However, we should also use them wisely and avoid over-reliance.

Learning English Beyond the Classroom
There are many ways of learning English. As is clearly shown in the chart, the majority of students learn English by appreciating English songs, accounting for 65%, followed by 50% of the students who learn through watching English movies. Compared with the above two approaches, reading English books and browsing English learning websites make up18% and 12% respectively.
Obviously, students pose a positive attitude and interest towards entertaining English activities, which relieve themselves from the study burden.
As far as I'm concerned, diverse approaches to learning English should be encouraged and developed, both in and beyond classroom.
