Work in groups of four or five. Each member of the group makes a profile of “Future me” with words and a picture, and puts it in a “time box”. About three years later, all students will open the box and read their profiles. It means the version of me at a later point in time. This is a way of thinking about the person I will become. Write STEP 2 I will be over 1.75 metres tall. I will be a good basketball player. I will go to a good school. I will play ball games with my friends regularly. I will work on my poor English. 5 Share your draft. Discuss the questions in Step 1 and revise your draft. Share and revise STEP 3 I will be over 1.75 metres tall. I will be a good basketball player. Where is my school? Is this a good habit? Will I get rid of any bad habits? How can I learn English well? What should I do? I will not spend much time on computer games but will play ball games with my friends. 6 Draw a picture of yourself for your profile, or ask someone in your group to draw the picture.
