序数词的构成 (教材P35)
(1) 序数词1~19除了first, second, third有特殊形式外,其余基
本都是由基数词后面加-th构成。
(2) 有几个序数词的构成不规则,它们是fifth, eighth, ninth和
twelfth。
(3) 除10以外的整十数序数词的构成方法是先将整十数基数词词
尾的y变为ie,再加-th。如:
twenty→twentieth ninety→ninetieth

(4) 基数词中20以上的“几十几”变成序数词时,只要把个位数
变成序数词,十位数不变。如:
thirty-two→thirty-second
(5) 序数词也有相应的缩写形式,由阿拉伯数字后加上序数词的
最后两个字母构成。如:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 65th。
