(1)manner作名词,意为“礼貌;礼仪”,常用
复数形式。常用表达:

unless,as soon as,so..that..引导的状语从句
unless,as soon as,so..that..分别引
导条件状语从句、时间状语从句和结果状语从
句。具体用法如下:
1.unless引导的条件状语从句
unless意为“除非;如果不”(相当于if..
not),它通常用于表达一种否定的条件,即主
句中的情况或行为只有在从句的条件不成
立时才会发生。其引导的条件状语从句中
的谓语动词常用一般现在时表将来。
eg:They will go for a picnic tomorrow
unless it rains.=They will go for a picnic
tomorrow if it doesn't rain.除非明天下雨,
否则他们会去野餐。
2.as soon as引导的时间状语从句
as soon as意为“一…就…”,表示主句

so..that..意为“如此…以至于…”
其引导的结果状语从句有如下四种结构:
(1)so+形容词/副词十that从句
eg:The maths problem is so difficult that no

没人能解出来。
(2)so十形容词十a/an十单数名词十that从句
eg:It was so hot a day that they all went
swimming.天是那么热以至于他们都去游
泳了。
