Ⅲ.阅读理解[2025邯郸一模]

Hi Jack,
How are you? I'm writing to tell you something happy. Last term,
the evening self-study class of our school was not aperiod just for study.
We had more choices. We could make something funny.
At first, we could only make things like paper-cuts. But little by
little, we learned to make toys, study tools, and even some bags.
9
At the same time, some of us students had worries, too. We would
be making things while students in other schools kept working hard.
What if we fall behind in our studies because of this? But up to now, I
think this is a great chance for me to slow down. It makes me more
creative in both my study and life. And it makes me proud when I see
my works take shape step by step.
By the way, our school will hold a show about things we made
next weekend. You can come and enjoy yourself here. It will be held in
the school library. Here is a map for you. After you get to our school
gate, just go in and you'll see a large building on your left. Go around
it and turn left. Then walk along the road until you cross the bridge.
And then turn right at the first crossing. Follow the road, and the library
is the second building on your right.#6
Look forward to seeing you!
Yours,
Tom

Ⅳ.阅读表达
文体:说明文 词数:380 用时:10 minutes
Every day we have to make lots of decisions from the moment we
wake up in the morning, like what to wear today, when to leave
home, what to have for lunch and so on. Some are not-so-important
decisions that are mostly about our likes and dislikes. But other decisions
mean a lot to us. They can decide our health, schoolwork, relationships
with friends and family, even our life goals. Here are some different
opinions about making decisions.
14
Xu Hailu, Grade 9: My parents are always busy working. They tell
me I should learn to be independent. Since I was young, I've had the
habit of doing things by myself. Making decisions is a piece of cake for
me, but to make sure my decisions are good, I always talk about
them with my parents.
Dong Liang, Grade 9: I'm often stuck between a rock and a hard
place when it comes to making decisions. I need to think about it for a
while. I can't decide because I am afraid of regretting later. So sometimes
I am a little worried about the decision that I am about to make.
Professor Wang: Parents play a role in helping children make
decisions. But sometimes they don't always help, and they just try to
make decisions for their kids. I think parents should act as guides rather
than pushing kids to do as what they say. After all, kids need to learn
to make decisions by themselves and live their own lives. How to make
good decisions for teenagers?
●First of all, we should read more books to build a better
knowledge system.
●Second, we should develop the ability of critical thinking
(批判性思维). It means that we need to go deeper into a problem and
look at it in different ways. By practicing critical thinking, we can
think about other possibilities and solve problems by ourselves.
●Third, we are supposed to take trips, join in social activities
and try different things so that we can learn more outside the classrooms.
In a word, as teenagers, we should be responsible for ourselves
and learn to make decisions.#1.5.3
