Teaching Procedures Step 1: Lead-in (5 mins) Activity: Picture Matching & Guess the Landscape Show pictures of oceans, deserts, forests, mountains, rivers and plains. Ask students to match the pictures with the English words (ocean/desert/forest etc.). Then give clues for guessing: 1　 It’s a huge area of water and covers most of the earth’s surface.
