(1)学生的知识储备
学生通过本单元前两个板块的学习,已掌握与实习、志愿者活动相关的词汇和句型,阅读过Stella的实习书信,对实习经历有了初步的认知和情感共鸣。

学生具备基础阅读理解能力,能够获取文本表层信息;通过前两个板块的训练,已初步掌握skimming和scanning等阅读策略。部分学生有过实习或社会实践经历,对话题有切身感受。

高年级学生即将面临实习或已经开始规划未来职业,对“实习能带来什么收获”有强烈的求知欲和实用需求。同龄人的真实分享能有效激发阅读兴趣。

1. 三位实习生的感悟各具特色,需要对比理解不同收获;2. 讨论环节需要用英语表达自己的观点,语言组织有挑战;3. 将他人经验与自身发展相结合的深度思考能力有待培养。

理解三位实习生的不同收获:Katie——技能提升与沟通能力;Alex——同事帮助与人际关系;Dough——独立创作与职业规划。

Step1 Lead-in
1. Review & Connect: "Last class we read about Stella's internship experience. What did she learn from her internship?" (team player, positive attitude, oral English)
2. Question: "Do you think every intern has the same experience and feelings? Today we're going to hear from three different interns—Katie, Alex, and Dough."
1. Recall Stella's story and her gains.
2. Predict: What different experiences might interns have?

Step2 Pre-reading
1. Vocabulary Preview: Introduce key words with simple explanations:
- competitive: able to compete well

2. Prediction: "Look at the three names and their photos. What do you think each intern might say about their internship?"

3. Question 2 Guidance: Direct students to Alex's words. "What was the best part? Find the sentence." (The best part was that my tutors and other colleagues were really helpful.) → C
