【Why】Through the vivid dialogue and story scenarios, this passage helps students master the sentence patterns "You must..." and "You mustn't..." to express traffic rules, and cultivate their awareness of abiding by road safety regulations.

讲授新课
1. Present key vocabulary
Show pictures of traffic lights, zebra crossing, pavement and road, teach the words one by one, guide students to read and spell correctly.
2. Watch and listen
Play the Story time cartoon clip, then ask questions:
- What are Bobby and Tina talking about?
- What must we do when crossing the road?

Show more traffic scenarios (e.g., taking a bus, riding a bike), ask students to discuss "What must we do? What mustn't we do?" in groups.
6. Homework assignment
Ask students to make a road safety poster, which includes at least 3 traffic rules, and share it with family members.
1. Learn new vocabulary by looking at pictures, read and spell repeatedly.
2. Watch the cartoon, listen carefully and answer the teacher's questions.
3. Follow the audio to read, understand the usage of "must" and "mustn't".
4. Work in groups to perform the story, try to show the characters' feelings with actions.
5. Discuss different traffic scenarios in groups and express their ideas with key sentence patterns.
6. Accept the homework task and plan to make the poster.
1. Use intuitive pictures to help students memorize vocabulary easily.
2. Cartoon clips make the story more interesting, help students understand the main content quickly.
3. Paragraph reading and pattern analysis help students master key knowledge step by step.
4. Role-play cultivates students' cooperative awareness and oral English expression ability.
5. Expansion discussion connects knowledge with real life, improves students' practical application ability.
6. Poster-making consolidates the knowledge and enhances the awareness of road safety.
