Naturally introduce the theme of this lesson: Today we will learn a lesson about an accident on the street. Let's find out what happened to Ann and learn the safety lessons from it. 活动设计 Activity Design Step 1: Fast Reading Task Sort out the accident sequence. Ask students to read the news passage related to the text quickly and finish the event ordering task with the 7 sentences on the PPT. Invite students to share their answers, the teacher checks and shows the correct order on the PPT, and guides students to summarize the core action of each step with simple words. Step 2: Intensive Reading Task Extract key accident information. Students read the text carefully again and fill in the information of the timeline form on the PPT. Check answers in groups, the teacher invites group representatives to show the filled results, and emphatically explains the core information. Combined with the form, the teacher leads students to retell the complete process of the accident to strengthen students' extraction and memory of event elements. Step 3: Intensive Explanation and Practice of Vocabulary and Sentence Patterns Step 4: Situational Expression and In-depth Thinking (5 minutes) Provide an expression framework, ask students to briefly tell the accident process to the whole class as Ann, refer to the Beginning-Middle-End structure. Guide students to tick the correct cybersafety tips on the PPT, and sort out the three core parts of the text: personal information protection, misinformation judgment, cyberbullying solution.
