By the end of this period, the students will have been able to:
1) Brainstorm words and phrases concerning art and then make a mind map to connect them;
2) Read a passage about Monet and Impressionism and fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words and phrases learned in the reading text;
3) Identify some words with similar meaning by understanding their explanation in English and practice them by making sentences;
4) Complete the vocabulary exercises in the workbook to consolidate the words and phrases learned in this unit.

1. In groups, brainstorm words and phrases concerning art and then make a mind map to connect them. And then get a few groups to present their mind maps. After that, the teacher can add more words and phrases.

3. Work in groups. Look up each group of words in the dictionary and discuss their differences. Then create a blank-filling activity based on your understanding of these words. Exchange your activity with another group and see how well you can do.
