不能。因为when在引导的定语从句中仅表示“在……期间/时刻”，where则表示“在……地方”，why表示“由于该原因”，而上面句子中的“介词＋which/whom”所表达的意义和when，where，why差异较大，无法替代。

一、“介词＋关系代词”中关系代词的确定

在部分定语从句中，当关系代词作介词的宾语时，可将介词提到关系代词之前，构成“介词＋关系代词”引导定语从句的结构，此时关系代词用whom指人，用which指物；不能使用who或者that。

The conditions under which the experiment was conducted were quite challenging.

实验进行的条件非常具有挑战性。

This is the project for/on which we have been working hard.

这是我们一直为之努力的项目。

She is the student to whom the teacher spoke.

她就是老师和她说过话的那个学生。

二、“介词＋关系代词”中介词的确定

1．根据定语从句修饰的先行词的习惯搭配来确定介词。

This is the time during which we need to focus on our project.

这是我们需要集中精力在项目上的时期。(during the time表示“在这段时间内”)

Do you still remember the day on which we met for the first time？你还记得我们第一次见面的那一天吗？(on the day表示在具体的一天)

2．根据定语从句中的动词或者某些短语的习惯搭配来确定介词。

He is the person to whom I owe my success.

我的成功归功于他。(owe...to...)

The city from which she comes is known for its ancient ruins.

她来自的那座城市以其古老的遗迹而闻名。(come from)

3．如果先行词或者从句动词有多个介词搭配时，要根据上下文表达的具体意思来确定介词。

This is the pilot with whom my brother has worked for ten years.

这就是和我弟弟一起工作了十年的那位飞行员。(work可用搭配for，with，on，
