How are you today? Ss: Good morning! We are fine, thank you. T: Great! Last lesson, we had a surprise party for Li Ming. Now Li Ming is leaving for China. Let's learn Lesson 23: Good-bye!. Let's read the title together. Ss: Good-bye! 二、新知呈现：At the airport（约15分钟） T: Li Ming is leaving for China. Does he have surprises for his friends? (Read: "Li Ming is leaving for China. He has a surprise for Jenny and a surprise for Danny, too.") T: What does Li Ming give Danny? (Read:) "Open it!" says Li Ming. He gives Danny a gift. "Oh. It's a kite," says Danny a little sadly. "Yes! It's a good Chinese kite, Danny. You can fly it! I know you can!" says Li Ming. T: What does Li Ming give Jenny? (Read:) "This is for you, Jenny," says Li Ming. Jenny opens her gift. "Oh! It's a little, red dragon!" she says. "Yes. I want you to remember China," says Li Ming. T: What do they say to Li Ming? (Read:) "Have a good trip!" says Danny. "Don't forget to write!" says Jenny. "Good-bye!" says Li Ming. T: Perfect! Li Ming's gifts are a way to remember their friendship! 三、操练巩固：Let's sing!（约10分钟） T: Now let's sing a song about saying good-bye! Let's read the lyrics together.
