教学过程
一、热身导入(5分钟)
1. 师生问候
教师用英语和学生打招呼: Hello, boys and girls! Good morning! How are you today? 引导学生回应,营造轻松的课堂氛围。
2. 复习旧知
教师带领学生回顾上一课关于篮球比赛的对话,用 Who is a good basketball player? 提问,学生回答,为新课“一位著名的足球运动员”做铺垫。
3. 情境导入
教师展示Pele的图片,说: Do you know Pele? He is a world famous football player. Many years ago, he was a poor boy. How did he become famous? Let's watch the story! 引出课题 A Famous Football Player,板书并带领学生齐读课题。
二、新知学习(15分钟)
1. 学习故事词汇
教师依次出示 famous, football player, poor family, coach, gift, dig a hole, World Cup 的图片和单词卡片,慢速范读,强调发音,学生跟读、分组读、指名读。
结合语境辅助记忆:如讲解Pele来自贫穷家庭,用盒子和瓶子当足球练习,教练送给他真正的足球,加深学生记忆。
2. 学习故事内容
播放课文动画,学生观看并理解大意:很多年前,有一个来自贫穷家庭的男孩非常喜欢踢足球,但父母买不起足球,他就用盒子和瓶子练习。一位教练发现了他,认为他会成为好球员,送给他一个足球。圣诞节时,男孩为教练挖了一个洞用来种圣诞树,教练很感动。后来,男孩加入了教练的球队,在1958年17岁时和队伍赢得了世界杯,他就是Pele。
逐图讲解故事,重点讲解:
"Many years ago, there was a boy from a very poor family. He liked to play football very much."
"The coach gave the boy a football as a gift. From then on, the boy played football harder."
"I can't buy you a Christmas gift. But I can dig a hole for your Christmas tree."
"In 1958, the 17-year-old boy and his team won the World Cup. He was famous around the world."
3. 跟读训练
播放课文录音,学生逐句跟读故事,模仿语音语调,重点练习男孩的坚持和教练的善良语气。
三、操练巩固(15分钟)
1. 故事表演
邀请几组学生上台扮演男孩(Pele)、教练和旁白,表演整个故事,鼓励加入动作和表情,如男孩挖洞时的认真表情。
2. Read and talk活动
学生分组讨论问题:
Why did the boy use boxes and bottles as his footballs? (Because his parents couldn't buy him a football.)
Why did the coach give him a football as a gift? (Because he thought the boy would be a good player.)
