冀教版五年级下册英语 Unit 4 Lesson 21 Look at the Photos! 教学设计 教学目标 知识目标 1. 能够听、说、认读核心词汇及短语:photo, train, baby, hurt one's tail, happy, sad, this year, last year, this week, last week。 2. 能够掌握be动词的一般现在时与一般过去时变化和核心句型: We were on the train to Beijing. We played with the baby. He hurt his tail. He was sad. He is eight years old this year. → He was seven years old last year. I am happy today! → I was sad yesterday. We are in Canada this week. → We were in China last week. 能力目标 1. 能够听懂并朗读Danny和Jenny看照片的对话,理解be动词过去式的用法。 2. 能够运用be动词过去式描述过去的状态,并区分一般现在时和一般过去时。 3. 能够完成Read and write、Talk and write等练习,提升语言运用和语法应用能力。 情感目标 1. 培养学生通过照片回忆美好经历的兴趣,感受分享的快乐。 2. 引导学生学会用英语表达过去的状态和感受,增强语言表达的条理性。 3. 增强学生运用英语进行日常交流的自信。 教学重难点 教学重点 1. 掌握be动词的过去式:am/is → was, are → were。 2. 能够区分并正确使用be动词的一般现在时(this year, today, this week)和一般过去时(last year, yesterday, last week)。 教学难点 1. 准确使用be动词过去式描述过去的状态。 2. 在真实情境中自然、连贯地运用be动词过去式分享照片背后的故事。 教学准备 1.照片图片、be动词原形和过去式卡片、故事图片。 2.多媒体课件(包含课文图片、动画、音频)。 3.奖励贴纸。 教学过程 一、热身导入(5分钟) 1. 师生问候 教师用英语和学生打招呼: Hello, boys and girls! Good morning! How are you today?  引导学生回应,营造轻松的课堂氛围。 2. 复习旧知 教师带领学生回顾上一课Jenny回家的对话,用  What did Jenny do in Beijing?  提问,学生回答,为新课“看照片”做铺垫。 3. 情境导入 教师展示一张旅行照片,说: Jenny and Danny took many photos in Beijing. Today, they are looking at the photos. What stories are behind the photos? Let's find out!  引出课题 Look at the Photos!,板书并带领学生齐读课题。 二、新知学习(15分钟) 1. 学习对话内容 播放课文动画,学生观看并理解大意:Jenny和Danny在看照片,回忆在北京的经历:在去北京的火车上和婴儿玩耍,在故宫Danny弄伤了尾巴很伤心,在长城上大家都很开心。 逐句讲解对话,重点讲解: "We were on the train to Beijing. We played with the baby." "He hurt his tail. He was sad." "We were on the Great Wall. We were very happy." 2. 学习be动词的一般现在时与一般过去时 教师展示be动词原形和过去式卡片,讲解: am/is → was, are → were 教师对比句子: He is eight years old this year. → He was seven years old last year. I am happy today! → I was sad yesterday. We are in Canada this week. → We were in China last week. 学生跟读,并用表情和动作区分两种时态。 三、操练巩固(15分钟) 1. 课文跟读与表演 播放课文录音,学生逐句跟读对话,模仿语音语调,重点练习Danny受伤时的难过语气和在长城上的开心语气。 邀请几组学生上台扮演Jenny, Danny和Steven,表演对话,鼓励加入动作和表情。 2. Read and write练习 学生根据图片和提示,用be动词的正确形式填空: a. I was a baby in 2002. I am a boy now. b. They were eggs on June 1. They are baby chickens now. c. Li Ming was short in 2003. He is tall now. d. The trees were small last year. They are big now. 学生独立完成后,小组内互相朗读,巩固be动词过去式的用法。 3. Talk and write练习 教师示范: Look at this photo. We were at the Palace Museum. We went there by bus. We had fun.  学生两人一组,选择一张自己的照片,用英语描述照片背后的故事,然后写下来。 小组内互相分享,巩固综合运用一般过去时的能力。 四、拓展运用(5分钟) 创设“照片故事会”情境,学生上台展示自己的一张照片,并用英语讲述背后的故事,例如: Look at this photo. I was at the zoo last year. I saw a panda. I was happy.  鼓励学生大胆表达,培养在真实情境中运用英语的能力。 五、课堂小结(3分钟) 1. 带领学生回顾本节课学习的词汇、核心句型和语法知识,齐读关键句子和be动词过去式。 2. 总结:描述现在的状态用be动词的一般现在时,描述过去的状态用be动词的过去式(was/were)。 3. 表扬表现优秀的小组和个人,鼓励学生在生活中多运用英语分享自己的照片故事。 六、作业布置(2分钟) 1. 跟读课文录音3遍,熟读对话,模仿语音语调。 2. 完成Read and write、Talk and write练习。 3. 带一张自己的旅行或生活照片到学校,用英语写5句话描述它: Look at this photo.
