The pictures are called frames, and each of them tells a part of the story. A comic strip may have one or many frames. The story is also told with speech bubbles and thought bubbles. In speech bubbles, we can see what the characters say, and thought bubbles show what they think. Speech bubbles and thought bubbles help us understand the story more easily. Make sure your story has a beginning, middle and end. Write down your ideas. Step 2: Draw frames Then, draw three frames on a clean piece of paper, using a pencil and a ruler. You can mark where the speech bubbles and thought bubbles will go. Step 3: Draw characters Now, it’s time to draw your characters! If you are not good at drawing, you can use basic shapes. You can even use stick figures. Use a pencil so that you can erase any mistakes. Step 4: Add text Next, add text in the speech bubbles and thought bubbles. Add captions if necessary. Don’t forget to double-check your spelling. Step 5: Add details Now, go back to your characters and add details such as facial expressions and movement lines.
