[名师点津] observe sb. do sth.结构如果用于被动语态,应还原不定式符号to,即sb. be observed to do sth.。 [句式精析] 1 Nor was it a wide range of contacts and connections. 也不是通过广泛的接触和联系。  [句式分析] 句中否定词nor位于句首引起部分倒装。形式为:“nor + be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语+动词+其他”。表示前面的否定情况也适用于另一人或物, 可用neither替换nor。 ◆[佳句感知]  She couldn't work out the problem and nor/neither could I. 她解决不了这个问题,我也不能。 [知识积累] (1)若表示前句中的肯定情况也适用于另一人或物,要用“so +be动词/情态动词/助动词+主语”,表示“……也是这样,也是如此”。 (2)当前句中既有肯定的情况也有否定的情况,两种不同的情况也适用于另一人或物时,或者当前句中有两种不同的谓语动词,两种谓语动词也适用于另一人或物时,则用以下句式:It is the same with sb./sth.或So it is with sb./sth.。 [名师点津] 如果后一句只是单纯地重复前一句的意思, 此时主谓不倒装, 句型为“so+主语+be动词/助动词/情态动词”。 ◆[学以致用] 单句语法填空/完成句子 ①He never went again; neither/nor  did he write to apologize. ②He likes swimming and  so  do I. ③Tom isn't good at maths; neither/nor am I . 汤姆数学不好,我也不好。 ④Tom is very clever and studies very hard. It is the same with Mary/So it is with Mary . 汤姆聪明且努力学习,玛丽也一样。 ⑤—She speaks French very well. 她法语说得很好。 — So she does .她说得确实很好。 2 These things were real,and it was within their reality that Cunningham saw both beauty and potential. 这些东西都是真实的,正是在现实中,坎宁安看到了美和潜力。  [句式分析] 句中it was within their reality that为强调句型, 结构为:it's+被强调部分+that +其他成分。 ◆[佳句感知]  It was John who/that bought an old bike yesterday in a marketplace. 是约翰昨天在市场上买了辆旧自行车。 [知识积累]  强调句的基本结构形式为“It+is/was+被强调成分+that/who...”,其中的被强调部分可以是名词或代词,也可是短语或从句。 (1)强调句型的一般疑问句形式为“Is/Was+it+被强调的部分+that/who+句子其余部分?” (2)强调句型的特殊疑问句形式为“特殊疑问词+is/was+that/who+句子其余部分?” (3)not...until的强调句形式 当被强调的是not...until句型中的until引导的时间状语时,要将not放在until的前面。 [名师点津] 判断句子是不是强调句型的方法:去掉It+is/was 和that/who,剩下部分若句子结构完整,句意明确,则为强调句型,否则就不是。 ◆[学以致用] 单句语法填空/完成句子 ①It is the sick old man  who/that  is in need of help. ②Who was it  that  told Jim the news? ③It was Susan and John who  were (be)absent from school yesterday. ④ It was in the amusement park that  their son got lost.    就是在游乐园里他们的儿子迷了路。 ⑤ Was it you that/who I saw  last night at the concert? 昨晚我在音乐会上见到的是你吗? ⑥ It was not until the meal was over that  he turned up. 一直到用餐结束他才现身。 $
