Hi there. Today we’ll talk about a survey in an American middle school. Scientists showedhalf a glass of water to 200 students.Then they asked the question: Is the glass half full or half empty? The scientists studied the students’ answers Guess what? Seventy percent thought it was half full, and thirty percent said it was half empty. What does this mean? The “glass half-full” people usually look on the bright side of life. The “glass half-empty” people often believe that bad things will happen. So, what about you? What kind of person are you?
