1.动词不定式(todo)作状语(表目的、结果、原因)
1.表目的(“为了…”,可位于句首或句末,句首时常用逗号隔开)
结构:T0+动词原形(什其他),主语+谓语:或主语+谓语+to+动词原形(什其他)
例句:
a.To improve English,she reads English books every day.(为了提高英语,她每天读英语书。)
b.He studies hard to get good grades..(他努力学习是为了取得好成绩。)
2.表结果(常与only连用,意为“结果却…”,表意外或未预料到的结果)
结构:主语+谓语+only to+动词原形(+其他)
例句:
a.He hurried to the station only to find the train had left.(他匆忙赶到车站,结果却发现火车已经开
走了。)
3.表原因(常用于表示情感的形容词后,如glad,happy,soy,sad等)
结构:主语+be+形容词+to+动词原形(+其他)
例句:
a.I am glad to meet you.(很高兴见到你。)
b.She was sad to hear the bad news..(听到这个坏消息,她很难过。)
2.现在分词(doing)作状语(表主动、进行,常表伴随、时间、原因、结果)

1.表伴随(与谓语动作同时发生,作伴随状语)
结构:主语+谓语动词+doing sth.(主语与doing之间是主动关系)
例句:
a.The girl walked down the street,singing a song.(那个女孩沿街走着,唱着歌。)(singing与walked
同时发生,女孩主动唱歌)
2.表时间(相当于whn引导的时间状语从句,动作与谓语动作同时或先后发生)
结构:Doing sth,主语+谓语(+其他)(主语与doing之间是主动关系)
例句:
a.Seeing the teacher,,the students stopped talking.(看到老师,学生们停止了说话。)(seeing发生在
stopped之前,学生主动看到)
3.表原因(相当于because引导的原因状语从句,动作与谓语动作有因果关系)
结构:Doing sth,主语+谓语(什其他)(主语与doing之间是主动关系)
例句:
a.Being ill,he didn't go to school yesterday..(因为生病了,他昨天没去上学。)(being ill是没上学
的原因,他主动生病)
4.表结果(自然结果,常位于句末,前面可加hus或therefore)
结构:主语+谓语动词,doing sth.(主语与doing之间是主动关系,结果由谓语动作自然产生)
例句:
a.The heavy rain lasted for a week,.causing a flood.(大雨下了一周,引发了洪水。)(causing是大
雨导致的自然结果)
3.过去分词(done)作状语(表被动、完成,常表时间、原因、条件)
1.表被动(主语与done之间是被动关系,动作已完成或被动承受)
结构:Done sth,主语+谓语(+其他)(done与主语逻辑上是被动关系)
例句:
a.Seen from the hill,the city looks beautiful.(从山上看,这座城市很美。)(the city被看,see与
city是被动关系)
2.表原因(相当于because引导的原因状语从句,主语是动作的承受者)
结构:Done sth,主语+谓语(什其他)(done与主语是被动关系)
例句:
a.Shocked by the news,.she couldn't say a word..(被这个消息震惊了,她说不出话来。)(she被消
息震惊,shock与she是被动关系)
3.表条件(相当于f引导的条件状语从句,主语是动作的承受者)

2.doing(现在分词作伴随/结果状语)
伴随状语(与主句动作同时发生):

结果状语(自然结果):
I.It rained heavily,causing a flood in the village..(雨下得很大,导致村子发了洪水。)

3.done(过去分词作状语)
被动/完成意义:
