(三)时间状语从句 1.before、 after、 when和while引导的时间状语从句 连词 用法 before "在……之前",表示主句动作发生在从句动作之前。 after "在……之后",表示主句动作发生在从句动作之后。 when "当……时",既可指较短的时间(即某一具体时间),也可指一段时间。两个动作可以是同时发生,也可以是先后发生;从句的谓语动词可以是延续性的,也可以是瞬时性的。 while while"在……期间",表示主句动作发生在从句动作进行的过程中;while"当……时",强调主句动作和从句动作是同时发生的。while引导的从句的谓语动词必须是延续性的。 注意点: (1) while还可意为"(对比两件事物)而,然而",表示对比。 (2)在含有when/while引导的时间状语从句的复合句中,当主句和从句的主语一致,并且从句中有be动词时,可以省略从句中的主语和be动词。 2. since、 till和until引导的时间状语从句 连词 用法 since "自……以来",从句谓语动词常用一般过去时,对应的主句的谓语动词多用现在完成时。 till/until "到……为止",一般情况下两者可以互换,但till不如until正式。until可以放在句首或句中,而till不可以放在句首。 易错点:当主句中的谓语动词是瞬时动词时,该动词用否定形式。 "not ...till/until"结构,意为"直到……才(开始)"。 3.as soon as和whenever引导的时间状语从句 连词 用法 as soon as "一……就",可以放在句首或句中,可以用于各种时态。 whenever "每当,每次;任何时候"。 四、单元重点话题归纳 1.单元主题“青少年问题”,用所学的词汇和句型介绍青少年在学习和生活中遇到的问题及解决方式。 写作维度: ①学习中遇到的困难; ②生活中与家长的矛盾; ③与其他同学之间的矛盾。 谋篇布局: 参考范文: Dear Wanghai,   I'm sorry to hear about your communication problems in getting along well with your parents.
