The doctor checked and said the back of my throat looked very red. He told me we needed to do a test, but he believed I had the flu since it’s flu season. I asked what I should do. He said I should take some medicine and drink enough water.
I also asked if I could go to school tomorrow, but he said no—I should rest at home. He reminded me to wear a mask when I’m outside, because it stops us from passing the flu virus to others easily. I promised I would.
