学习目标
通过本课时学习,学生能够:
1. 能够通过听录音、学唱歌谣,感知、辨别字母在开音节中的发音。
2. 能够借助录音辨别字母o的长短音,并观察、归纳开音节单词的构成特点,将两种发音例词归类。
3. 能够借助拼读规则在四线格中拼读和拼写单词,做到书写规范、正确。
4. 能够理解歌谣大意,再次思考开篇页问题,认识到什么是健康的食品。
教学重难点
教学重点:
1. 能够通过听录音、学唱歌谣,感知、辨别字母在开音节中的发音并观察、归纳开音节单词的构成特点。
2. 能够借助拼读规则拼读单词,并在四线格中拼写单词。
教学难点:
1. 能够理解歌谣大意,再次思考开篇页问题,认识到什么是健康的食品。
教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1. Let’s play.
Teacher says the name of alphabets, the student say the sound of the letter.
【设计意图】复习26个字母的名称音与字母发音。
2. Let’s review.
Students say the words containing the letter o. And refresh their memory of the
short vowel o by reading the words.
【设计意图】激活学生关于含字母o的语音知识,复习字母o在闭音节单词中的发音。
3. Let’s guess.
Make a guess at the sound of “o_e” by reviewing the the sounds of“a_e” and “i_e”.
【设计意图】根据已学知识猜测字母组合“o_e”在单词中的发音,引发兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation
4. Look and say.
Students describe the picture contents, and identify the figures(Joe Jones and his friend), the place (at home) and the event (eat food, Coke, cone and so on).
【设计意图】借助图片,预测儿歌内容。
5. Listen and tick.
The student listen to the chant and tick the food Joe likes to eat.
【设计意图】整体感知歌谣内容,获取关键信息。
6. Choose and say.
Students choose the kind of food which Joe likes to eat and choose the right words to describe the junk food and healthy food.
【设计意图】学生借助图片和选择理解junk food 和healthy food的含义,让学生意识到垃圾食品不利于身体的成长。
7. Watch and say.
Students watch the video and get the thoughts and advice from Joe’s friend.
【设计意图】进一步理解儿歌大意, 引导学生对Joe提出健康饮食的建议。
8. Listen and find out.
Students listen to the chant and focus on the words containing “o_e”. Identify the structures of the words and find out the sound that “o_e” make.
9. Read and find out.
Students read the chant following the record.
【设计意图】归纳字母o在开音节中的发音规则和开音节词的构成特点。
10. Listen and imitate.
Students read the chant sentence by sentence following the record.
【设计意图】通过模仿跟读,帮助学生流利、准确地朗读。
11. Let’s spell.
Students spell the words on the worksheet.
【设计意图】帮助学生掌握拼读技巧,达成见词能读的目标。
Step 3 Consolidation and extension
12. Read, listen and circle.
Students read the words and distinguish the two different sounds of “o” in words. Then circle the words while listening, then check answers.
【设计意图】帮助学生梳理、归纳出字母o在开音节单词和闭音节单词的不同发音。
13. Look and say.
Students spot the o-words in the pictures and describe the pictures with the o-words.
【设计意图】预测目标单词,提升学生语用能力。
14. Listen, circle and write.
Students finish the task on the book and check with the teacher. Then do the
self-assessment.
【设计意图】巩固学生听音辨词以及听音写词的能力,通过自评促使养成良好的书写习惯。
15. Read, choose and write.
Students choose the words to write and finish the chant on workbook.
【设计意图】巩固规范书写单词的能力,发展语用能力,并为第三个回家作业进行铺垫。
Homework
1.听录音,跟读英语书42页的单词和句子,并学唱歌谣。
2.完成《作业练习纸》的练习。
