二、单元教学目标
Language Abilities
1.Master new words and phrases related to online travel,famous attractions and cities,and use them to describe online trips and introduce famous places.
2.Correctly distinguish and use the simple past tense and present perfect tense to talk about past experiences and actions related to travel.

1.Learn about the cultural characteristics,famous attractions and local customs of cities,and enhance cross⁃cultural understanding.
2.Understand the differences between online travel and on⁃site travel,and recognize the impact of the Internet on people’s way of understanding the world and cultural exchange.

◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class as usual.
2.Show pictures of popular attractions on the screen.Ask students to guess their names and briefly introduce them if they know.
Step 2 Work on A
1.Ask students to write the correct names under the pictures.
2.Play the recording of introductions to the attractions.Let students listen carefully and take notes of key information.
3.Check the answers together.
4.Ask some students to share what they learnt about the attractions.
Step 3 Work on B and C
1.Let students read the conversation between Daniel and Millie carefully.Explain the new words and phrases.
2.Divide students into pairs.Ask them to talk about ways to know about the world without leaving home,using the conversation as a model.
3.Invite some pairs to present their conversations.
◇教学反思◇
本课时通过展示热门景点图片和播放音频,有效激发了学生的学习兴趣,学生对景点相关词汇的掌握较好。在小组讨论环节,学生能够积极参与,分享了解世界的不同方式。但部分学生在表达自己的观点时,语言不够流畅,词汇量有限,后续教学中应加强日常口语表达训练,扩大学生的词汇积累。
