◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
Greet the class and review the previous grammar lesson.
Step 2 Work on A1
1.Ask students to read the list of places for travelling and the names of students.Play the recording for the first time,and students listen carefully.
2.Play the recording for the second time,and students match the students with the places.
3.Check the answers together.
Step 3 Work on A2
1.Ask students to read the table in A2.Play the radio programme recording twice.Let students complete the table with the information they hear.
2.Check the answers and explain the key points.
Step 4 Work on A3
1.Ask students to read Daniel’s article about travelling in China.Guide them to complete the article with the information in A1 and A2.
2.Check the answers together.Ask students to read the completed article aloud.
Step 5 Work on B
1.Ask students to read Daniel’s blog post about Yan’an silently.Help them understand the new words and difficult sentences.
2.Ask students to answer the two questions in B.
3.Organize students to discuss the second question in pairs:“Do you know other tourist attractions similar to Yan’an?What are they?”
4.Invite some students to share their answers with the class.
Step 6 Work on C
1.Play the recording of Daniel and Millie’s conversation about holiday plans.Ask students to listen and repeat after it.
2.Organize students to work in pairs.Ask them to take turns to ask about each other’s holiday plans using the conversation as a model and the new expressions.
3.Invite several pairs to present their conversations to the class.
Step 7 Work on D
1.Work on D1
Ask students to think about a popular Chinese attraction they want to write about.Complete the survey in D1 by answering the five questions.
2.Work on D2
Ask students to read Daniel’s article about the classical gardens of Suzhou carefully.Guide them to analyze the structure of the article.
3.Work on D3
(1)Ask students to write their own article about the attraction they chose in D1,using Daniel’s article as a model and the useful expressions.
(2)Invite some students to share their articles with the class.Give positive suggestions.
◇教学反思◇
本课时通过听力、讨论、写作等多种活动,有效整合了本单元的知识,提升了学生的综合语言运用能力。学生在听力活动中能够较好地捕捉关键信息;在讨论假期计划时,能够运用所学表达进行简单对话;在写作部分,大部分学生能够按照要求完成文章,掌握了介绍景点的基本结构和常用表达。但部分学生在写作中,存在词汇量不足、句子结构单一、语法错误等问题。后续教学中,会增加词汇积累和句型练习,同时加强写作指导,帮助学生提升写作水平。
