◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the students and review the key words and phrases about landscapes.
2.Show some pictures of famous landscapes in China,such as the Danxia landform and the Yadan landform,to activate students’ prior knowledge.
Step 2 Work on A
1.Ask students to read the article and ask them to answer the questions below.Encourage students to underline the key words and phrases while reading.
2.Check the answers together and ask students to explain their answers in English.
Step 3 Work on B
1.Let students listen to the radio.Ask students to complete Daniel’s notes.
2.Play the recording again and ask students to check their answers.Explain the new words and phrases.
Step 4 Work on C
1.Ask students to read the conversation between Daniel and Millie.
2.Play the recording of the conversation.
3.Divide the students into pairs and ask them to make their own conversations.Invite several pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 5 Work on D
1.Work on D1
(1)Ask students to choose a beautiful or an interesting landscape in China and complete the table about it.
(2)Ask some students to share their tables with the class.
2.Work on D2
(1)Play the recording and ask students to listen carefully.
(2)Ask students to read the article and underline the useful expressions and sentence structures.
3.Work on D3
(1)Ask students to write an article about a beautiful or an interesting landscape in China based on their information in D1 and use Daniel’s article as a model.
(2)Select a few excellent articles to share with the whole class and give praise and encouragement.
◇教学反思◇
通过本节课的整合训练,学生能够较好地运用所学知识进行听说读写活动,但在写作过程中,部分学生的文章在描述景观特色和旅游活动时不够详细。在今后的教学中,应加强写作指导;同时,鼓励学生多了解中国的自然景观,增加知识储备,以便更好地进行写作创作。
