Step 2 Work on 1a 1.Write the words in the box on the blackboard and ask students to match them with the pictures. 2.Check the answers and let students read the words aloud several times to practise pronunciation and talk about which food they like. Step 3 Work on 1b 1.Play the recording.Ask students to listen carefully and tick what Li Meng and Jane would like for lunch. 2.Play the recording again and check the answers with the students. Step 4 Work on 1c 1.Play the second conversation recording and ask students to write down what Jane has for breakfast(B)，lunch(L)，and dinner(D). 2.Check the answers and have a short discussion about Jane’s diet. Step 5 Work on 1d 1.Ask students to write what they usually eat for breakfast，lunch，and dinner on a piece of paper. 2.Then divide them into pairs to ask and answer the questions about their meals using the key sentences. 3.Invite some pairs to share their conversations with the class.
