求助信:需包含“自我困惑(如缺点、自卑情绪)、具体表现(如成绩、人际、活动参与)、引发情绪的具体事件、求助诉求”;
回信:需包含“共情对方情绪、肯定其优点(结合具体细节)、给出2-3条可操作建议、鼓励自我接纳并展望积极改变”;
4. 语言要求:正确使用描述自我的词汇(如strong points, weak points)、本单元核心短语(be hard on oneself, believe in oneself),用情感类形容词(sad, anxious, confident)和副词(often, sometimes)丰富表达。
Dear Sue,
I’m [你的身份,如a Grade 8 student named Li Ming]. These days, I’ve been feeling down because I can’t stop criticizing myself, so I’m writing to ask for your advice.
示例:

I’m not good at [某方面,如sports and public speaking]. Last week, we had a sports meeting—I failed the relay race, and I felt I let my class down. My grades are average except [优势学科,如math], but I still think I’m not “good enough” compared to my deskmate who does well in everything.
示例:

Dear Li Ming,
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling down—failing the relay race must have been hard, and it’s totally normal to feel that way sometimes. But let me tell you: you’re much more than your “imperfections”.
示例:

First, you’re great at math—that’s a wonderful strong point! Second, try to write down one “small win” (like solving a hard math problem) every day; it will help you notice your progress. Also, don’t be hard on yourself—everyone makes mistakes, and failing the race doesn’t mean you let anyone down.

Sue:

Sue
