【真题体验】 (2024·新课标Ⅱ卷) • 39 Minimize impact and maximize experience by skipping major holidays or rush hour. You'll compete with fewer tourists, save money, experience a different side of a popular place, and boost the economy when tourism is traditionally slower. A.Visit during off-peak times. B.So, should we stop traveling? C.Travel for you and no one else. 根据后文“Minimize impact and maximize experience by skipping major holidays or rush hour.(通过跳过重大节假日或高峰时间来最小化影响并最大化体验。)” 故选A。 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) But Turner's other cycles are just as important. 36 If these life cycles are delayed, interrupted, or denied, you feel incapable of accessing your states of self, controlling unpleasant feelings, and manipulating(操控) the energy that puts together the fabric of your inner world. E.They teach emotional awareness and management as well as identity. F.You feel like an 18-year old, especially when playing 80s music. G.When this stage is denied it creates a sense of insecurity. 由上文“But Turner's other cycles are just as important.”以及下文“If these life cycles are delayed, interrupted, or denied, you feel incapable of accessing your states of self, controlling unpleasant feelings, and manipulating (操控) the energy that puts together the fabric of your inner world.” 选项“They teach emotional awareness and management as well as identity.” 【真题体验】 (2024·浙江1月卷) In the past few years, online learning has become a significant part of the university and college experience. 36 But are all online courses created equal? How can you be sure that digital learning is right for you? 37 We interviewed students and professors to get their advice about online courses. E.The chief complaint about online courses is that they lack human interaction. F.If you take an online course, what can you do to ensure the best possible grade? G.A survey found that 29 percent of college students registered for online courses. 由上文“In the past few years, online learning has become a significant part of the university and college experience.(在过去的几年里,在线学习已经成为大学生活的重要组成部分。)”可知,在线学习对大学生活很重要,本空与这种现象的具体表现有关,选项“A survey found that 29 percent of college students registered for online courses.(一项调查发现,29%的大学生注册了在线课程。)” 37. 上文“But are all online courses created equal? How can you be sure that digital learning is right for you?(但是所有的在线课程都是平等的吗? 对在线课程提出疑问,本空可以继续提出疑问,选项“If you take an online course, what can you do to ensure the best possible grade?(如果你参加了在线课程,你能做些什么来确保尽可能好的成绩?)” Overvisited destinations are that way for a reason:they're special. With so many online posts featuring the same places, it's easy to feel like you're missing out.Go somewhere only when the landscape, culture or food deeply draws you. 37 C.Travel for you and no one else. D.Can overtourism be avoided then? E.You can still find relatively undiscovered places. 前文“Overvisited destinations are that way for a reason:they're special. With so many online posts featuring the same places, it's easy to feel like you're missing out.Go somewhere only when the landscape, culture or food deeply draws you.(游客过多的目的地是有原因的:它们很特别。 表明不要跟风旅游,选项“Travel for you and no one else.(为你而不是其他人旅行。)” 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) As Alice Black points out, today's parents' fear of letting kids do more housework has added to their inability to feel competent and, thus, confident in themselves.Psychologist Robert Turner wrote about this in his book, The Life Cycle, mentioning a stage when kids learn self-direction and mastery. 35 E.They teach emotional awareness and management as well as identity. F.You feel like an 18-year old, especially when playing 80s music. G.When this stage is denied it creates a sense of insecurity. 由上文“As Alice Black points out, today's parents' fear of letting kids do more housework has added to their inability to feel competent and, thus, confident in themselves.Psychologist Robert Turner wrote about this in his book, The Life Cycle, mentioning a stage when kids learn self-direction and mastery.” 选项“When this stage is denied it creates a sense of insecurity.” 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) While raising an adult is a parent's job, it's also our responsibility as a society to ensure that we support schools that nurture (培养) emotional and identity development. 39 A.It's also our job to support adults who need help repairing incomplete life cycles. B.They talk about someone's inability to support themselves through work. C.It's being able to show understanding when communicating with others. 由上文“While raising an adult is a parent's job, it's also our responsibility as a society to ensure that we support schools that nurture (培养) emotional and identity development.” 选项“It's also our job to support adults who need help repairing incomplete life cycles.” 故选A。 【真题体验】 (2025·浙江1月卷) 39 If you've ever worked as an instructor, manager, trainer or coach, you'll know that there are few better ways to learn new information than to teach it.Ask the audience to contribute their ideas or to take a role in explaining new concepts and policies to others.Allow them to lead discussions and meetings to develop their communication skills. A.Be patient. B.Get the audience involved. C.The best messages are often simple. D.Speak directly to what matters to them. 下文“If you've ever worked as an instructor, manager, trainer or coach, you'll know that there are few better ways to learn new information than to teach it.Ask the audience to contribute their ideas or to take a role in explaining new concepts and policies to others.”建议让受众参与其中,选项“Get the audience involved.” A (2025·重庆市高三一模) Tower running is a sport where athletes compete by climbing skyscraper stairs. 1 Why would someone choose to race up a building with no view, no crowd, and few refreshment stations? Many are motivated by charity, raising funds to combat diseases like cancer or to support education for the less fortunate. Some are just for their inner interest, forming fundraising and training teams. 2 It enhances heart and lung function, strengthens the lower body, and boosts endurance and mental resilience. However, tower running is not for the faint-hearted.Anyone who has climbed up a long flight of stairs knows climbing stairs can be painful. And the pain increases greatly during running.Tower runners must be able to deal with the stresses on their feet and legs while running. The risk of falling is real, which can lead to severe injuries. So you'd better avoid starting your training by hitting the stairs hard, especially if you are a beginner.Start slowly and increase gradually. 3 They might run the stairs once or twice a week at an intensity that is challenging but not overwhelming. Unlike some sports, tower running requires minimal equipment—a good pair of running shoes is about it.As for clothes, personal preference rules, but comfort is key. 4 It can get hot and stuffy, so choose breathable, lightweight clothing that won't block your climb. In summary, tower running is a unique sport that tests both physical and mental strength while often supporting worthy causes. It's a discipline that requires careful training and the right mindset to start this special exercise. 5 A.There's no wind inside a skyscraper. B.Climbing stairs is a demanding exercise. C.It has been growing in popularity recently. D.Do some warm-up exercises before running. E.You can combine tower running with other sports. F.Let's overcome the heights of urban landscapes bravely. Allow enough time for preparation. Poster design typically requires two weeks or so, though timelines differ depending on experience. As a postdoctoral fellow, I reuse existing posters to save time. 2 Reserve a week for checks and reprints to avoid last-minute issues. 3 Instead of filling posters with data, short storytelling is always prioritized. At the beginning of my science career, I thought I had to include as much data as possible and completely fill up all the available space on my poster. But then I learned that less is more!My posters are generally structured around a short introduction, the results, and a brief conclusion, using titles that are self-explanatory and deliver a message. Enhance visual design and tools. Effective posters rely on clear visual hierarchy (层次) and accessible design. To achieve this, I usually use open-source software to make my poster.I begin with a three-column layout to organize content logically.I also spend a lot of time on typography (排版).The right typesetting can turn a dense-looking wall of text into something much easier to read. 4 Master engagement during sessions. Successful presentations rely on active participation. 5 This invites interaction.Prepare flexible summaries.Have “1-, 3-, and 5-minute versions” ready for diverse audiences. For virtual sessions, platform-specific strategies apply.Post a preview with key figures and session times.Print handouts with your email—it keeps conversations flowing post-session.The most important thing for a successful poster presentation is being truly enthusiastic about what you present, and being approachable. If people can see your excitement, they get excited and curious, too. A.Focus on key findings for clarity. B.Limit yourself to around three figures. C.Above all, accessibility remains a priority. D.It helps to sharpen communication skills and build connections. E.You can start by asking audiences “Would you like a walk-through?” F.For first-time presenters, you are advised to allow extra weeks for revisions. G.I dig into conference proceedings, relevant papers, and even textbooks to emphasize the right things. 根据上文“I learned that the work that goes into preparing a poster is just as valuable as the presentation itself.” 下文提到“Yet, there are times when poster sessions don't go as hoped.” D“It helps to sharpen communication skills and build connections.” 本段主题为“Allow enough time for preparation.”,上文“As a postdoctoral fellow, I reuse existing posters to save time.”提到博士后研究者可以重复使用现有的海报来节省时间,下文“Reserve a week for checks and reprints to avoid last-minute issues.” F“For first-time presenters, you are advised to allow extra weeks for revisions.” 3.A 小标题。空处需概括段落核心,下文提到“Instead of filling posters with data, short storytelling is always prioritized.” A“Focus on key findings for clarity.” 本段讨论视觉设计与工具优化,上文“I also spend a lot of time on typography (排版).The right typesetting can turn a dense-looking wall of text into something much easier to read.” C“Above all, accessibility remains a priority.” Have ‘1-, 3-, and 5-minute versions’ ready for diverse audiences. For virtual sessions, platform-specific strategies apply.Post a preview with key figures and session times.Print handouts with your email—it keeps conversations flowing post-session.The most important thing for a successful poster presentation is being truly enthusiastic about what you present, and being approachable.” E“You can start by asking audiences ‘Would you like a walk-through?’” C (2025·河南省新乡市高三二模) Curiosity is often seen as the spark behind scientific breakthroughs and artistic masterpieces, but one of its most powerful uses is how we connect with others, which can also be life-changing.Here is a closer look at its benefits. 1 When someone asks you a thoughtful question about your life or takes the time to understand your perspective, which signals interest, you can feel valued and understood. 2 .They show that you care about what the other person has to say.By doing so, you are likely to create a positive feedback loop and more fondness from others. Generate curiosity Curiosity is infectious. 3 , start by being genuinely curious about theirs. This approach can have profound effects on how persuasive and influential we can be.A study found that when people feel heard and understood, they become more willing to explore different perspectives, helping create a bridge for mutual understanding and respect. Develop empathy(共情) 4 .When people approach social interactions with an open and inquiring mindset, they can improve their ability to empathize and also build stronger emotional connections. In other words, it helps individuals set aside assumptions, enabling more authentic and meaningful conversations. Build psychological resilience Curiosity can increase the ability to adjust people's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in response to challenges or setbacks. When faced with stress or adversity, curious people are more likely to explore their emotional reactions instead of avoiding them. 5 , leading to more effective emotional regulation. A.Win potential liking B.Bring overall thinking C.If you want someone to be open to your ideas or concerns D.Because it may help you respond to different situations anxiously E.Follow-up questions, in particular, demonstrate that we're actively listening F.So this allows them to better know the root causes of their emotional responses G.Understanding others' feelings is a skill that can be strengthened through curiosity 【语篇解读】 本文是一篇说明文。 下文“When someone asks you a thoughtful question about your life or takes the time to understand your perspective, which signals interest, you can feel valued and understood.” 上文“When someone asks you a thoughtful question about your life or takes the time to understand your perspective, which signals interest, you can feel valued and understood.”说明他人表现出兴趣时我们的感受,下文“They show that you care about what the other person has to say.” 上文“Curiosity is infectious.”说明好奇心会传染,下文“start by being genuinely curious about theirs. This approach can have profound effects on how persuasive and influential we can be.A study found that when people feel heard and understood, they become more willing to explore different perspectives, helping create a bridge for mutual understanding and respect.” 下文“When people approach social interactions with an open and inquiring mindset, they can improve their ability to empathize and also build stronger emotional connections.” 上文“When faced with stress or adversity, curious people are more likely to explore their emotional reactions instead of avoiding them.” D (2025·黑龙江省东三省精准教学联盟高三一模) Everyone experiences feelings of anxiety and occasional panic from time to time. However, when worry starts to affect everyday activities, you may have an anxiety disorder. 1 Here are some steps you can take to help you achieve that. 2 Many physical conditions, like low blood sugar and inner ear problems, can produce symptoms similar to anxiety.“Those who experience a panic attack may think they are having a heart attack,” says Dr.Sherrill.“The first thing to do is make sure they are not.” Breathe quietly and slowly. People experiencing anxiety and panic attacks often suffer from chest pain and may hyperventilate(换气过度), thus forgetting to breathe properly.During a panic attack, instead of telling someone to “take a deep breath”, encourage them to breathe slowly and quietly through their nose. 3 Exercise regularly. Exercise is well known for benefiting physical health. 4 According to Dr.Cassiday, “If you are feeling anxious or stressed, regular exercise, as well as mindful movements like yoga and Tai Chi, can help lessen those feelings.” Consider cognitive behavioral therapy. Research shows that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is effective in helping people with anxiety. 5 The cognitive aspect helps individuals recognize anxiety-provoking thought patterns, while the behavioral side encourages them to face their fears effectively. By taking these steps, you can work toward reducing anxiety and improving your overall well-being. A.Rule out other causes. B.Understand panic attacks. C.It has two sets of strategies. D.Getting life back on track as soon as possible is necessary. E.However, it also plays a significant role in managing anxiety. F.This approach can help restore carbon dioxide levels and ease discomfort. G.CBT is a type of talk therapy that has been applied to a variety of problems. 根据前文“However, when worry starts to affect everyday activities, you may have an anxiety disorder.”及后文“Here are some steps you can take to help you achieve that.” 2.A 小标题。第二段最后一句“The first thing to do is make sure they are not.” 前文“During a panic attack, instead of telling someone to ‘take a deep breath’, encourage them to breathe slowly and quietly through their nose.” 后文“According to Dr.Cassiday, ‘If you are feeling anxious or stressed, regular exercise, as well as mindful movements like yoga and Tai Chi, can help lessen those feelings.’” 后文“The cognitive aspect helps individuals recognize anxiety-provoking thought patterns, while the behavioral side encourages them to face their fears effectively.” 【限时训练】(限时:60分钟) 阅读七选五(一) A (2025·湖北省武汉市高三五月模拟训练) By my early 40s, I had tried every hobby meant to ease the transition(过渡) into middle age:learning a new language, an abandoned project, and even yoga. 1 So, in a moment of low-grade desperation, I decided to try ballet. “But you're not very flexible,” my husband gently reminded me.He wasn't wrong. My history with physical activities—badminton, cycling, swimming—hadn't exactly been promising. 2 Before my first class at the National Ballet School in Toronto, I grabbed a headband from my drawer.I was clearly aware that I was going to stand in front of a mirror with all my postural(体态的) problems on display. 3 I didn't expect much from the class, but to my surprise, the things that had driven me away as a 10-year-old now brought me joy:the repetitive exercises, the physical effort, and the teacher's critical eye. Though I expected my legs to ache, what I didn't expect was how my teacher's command to “take up more space” would change my way of being in the world. 4 As a writer, this felt like the best advice I'd ever received. 5 At 50, I'm a ballerina—not the kind you'd see on stage, but someone who moves and breathes with purpose, marveling(惊叹于) at my body's possibilities, imperfections and all. A.Nothing seemed to stick. B.Then I might as well do it in style. C.I had expected my classes to be physically demanding. D.Now, I'm what you might call a lifelong advanced beginner. E.I quickly realised ballet required more discipline than I had. F.But I determined to prove my body could still move with elegance. G.Ballet, he reminded me, isn't about perfection, but working towards it. 上文“By my early 40s, I had tried every hobby meant to ease the transition (过渡) into middle age:learning a new language, an abandoned project, and even yoga.” A项“Nothing seemed to stick.(似乎没有一种爱好能坚持下来。)” 上文“He wasn't wrong. My history with physical activities—badminton, cycling, swimming— hadn't exactly been promising.” F项“But I determined to prove my body could still move with elegance.” 上文“I was clearly aware that I was going to stand in front of a mirror with all my postural (体态的) problems on display.” B项“Then I might as well do it in style.” 上文“Though I expected my legs to ache, what I didn't expect was how my teacher's command to ‘take up more space’ would change my way of being in the world.” G项“Ballet, he reminded me, isn't about perfection, but working towards it.” 下文“At 50, I'm a ballerina—not the kind you'd see on stage, but someone who moves and breathes with purpose, marveling (惊叹于) at my body's possibilities, imperfections and all.” D项“Now, I'm what you might call a lifelong advanced beginner.(现在,我可以说是一个终身的进阶初学者。)” B (2025·河北省唐山市高三一模) If you are the kind of person who overreacts and rushes in, I get it.You might think you can escape the pain of what you are experiencing by getting overly eager and taking control.I used to overreact, but the problem was it never seemed to help. 1 It brought about more drama, stress, confusion, and chaos.Overreacting felt like experiencing the same thing twice. To be clear, I'm not saying there isn't plenty to be angry about in the world.I am also not for a moment suggesting you turn your back on important issues.I'm saying that overreacting is not where our power lies. 2 The art of underreacting is to move from anger to making a real difference while still taking care of ourselves. You won't be able to collect yourself until you notice that it's time to protect your peace. The good news is that once you notice, you are usually only one deep breath or a few more away from restoring your peace.Remember, being gentle isn't pretending that things are perfect or ignoring pain in ourselves or in the world. 3 If it's not time to take a bigger step, consider one tiny step. 4 A five-minute pause can make a difference.Take a time-out by simply waiting to respond or by saying, “I need time to think about this; let's pause the conversation.” This is especially helpful if you feel flooded with emotions. It's OK to take a little time. 5 Sometimes the pause that you need may be screaming into your pillow or crying to friends.Underreacting isn't about appearing perfectly calm for those around you. It's about taking care of yourself and limiting harm in times of great anxiety and confusion. A.Practice pausing. B.Instead, it always made things worse. C.It's how you protect and feed yourself. D.You don't have to be strong all the time. E.As you get angrier, you become bothered. F.Rather it exists potentially in underreacting. G.It's simply moving through with more attention, compassion, and hope. 根据上文“I used to overreact, but the problem was it never seemed to help.”和下文“It brought about more drama, stress, confusion, and chaos.Overreacting felt like experiencing the same thing twice.” 上文“I'm saying that overreacting is not where our power lies.”提到过度反应并不是我们力量的来源,下文“The art of underreacting is to move from anger to making a real difference while still taking care of ourselves.” 上文“Remember, being gentle isn't pretending that things are perfect or ignoring pain in ourselves or in the world.” 4.A 段中题。下文“A five-minute pause can make a difference.Take a time-out by simply waiting to respond or by saying, ‘I need time to think about this; let's pause the conversation.’ This is especially helpful if you feel flooded with emotions.” 下文“Sometimes the pause that you need may be screaming into your pillow or crying to friends.” C (2025·安徽省马鞍山市高三一模) August is the time of year when I turn my attention to harvesting lavender(薰衣草).Cutting lavender flowers is something you can and should do regularly over the summer months. 1 They can be useful for a range of projects in your home. A.Visit during off-peak times. B.So, should we stop traveling? C.Travel for you and no one else. 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) But Turner's other cycles are just as important. 【真题体验】 (2024·浙江1月卷) In the past few years, online learning has become a significant part of the university and college experience. Overvisited destinations are that way for a reason:they're special. With so many online posts featuring the same places, it's easy to feel like you're missing out.Go somewhere only when the landscape, culture or food deeply draws you. 37 C.Travel for you and no one else. D.Can overtourism be avoided then? E.You can still find relatively undiscovered places. 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) As Alice Black points out, today's parents' fear of letting kids do more housework has added to their inability to feel competent and, thus, confident in themselves.Psychologist Robert Turner wrote about this in his book, The Life Cycle, mentioning a stage when kids learn self-direction and mastery. 35 E.They teach emotional awareness and management as well as identity. F.You feel like an 18-year old, especially when playing 80s music. G.When this stage is denied it creates a sense of insecurity. 【真题体验】 (2025·北京卷) While raising an adult is a parent's job, it's also our responsibility as a society to ensure that we support schools that nurture (培养) emotional and identity development. 39 A.It's also our job to support adults who need help repairing incomplete life cycles. B.They talk about someone's inability to support themselves through work. C.It's being able to show understanding when communicating with others. 【真题体验】 (2025·浙江1月卷) 39 If you've ever worked as an instructor, manager, trainer or coach, you'll know that there are few better ways to learn new information than to teach it.Ask the audience to contribute their ideas or to take a role in explaining new concepts and policies to others.Allow them to lead discussions and meetings to develop their communication skills. A.Be patient. B.Get the audience involved. C.The best messages are often simple. D.Speak directly to what matters to them. A (2025·重庆市高三一模) Tower running is a sport where athletes compete by climbing skyscraper stairs. G.Runners can integrate stair climbing into their training routine. B (2025·安徽天一大联考高三最后一卷) I learned that the work that goes into preparing a poster is just as valuable as the presentation itself. 1 Yet, there are times when poster sessions don't go as hoped.Below are four key strategies for first-time presenters to maximize the impact. C (2025·河南省新乡市高三二模) Curiosity is often seen as the spark behind scientific breakthroughs and artistic masterpieces, but one of its most powerful uses is how we connect with others, which can also be life-changing.Here is a closer look at its benefits. A.Win potential liking B.Bring overall thinking C.If you want someone to be open to your ideas or concerns D.Because it may help you respond to different situations anxiously E.Follow-up questions, in particular, demonstrate that we're actively listening F.So this allows them to better know the root causes of their emotional responses G.Understanding others' feelings is a skill that can be strengthened through curiosity D (2025·黑龙江省东三省精准教学联盟高三一模) Everyone experiences feelings of anxiety and occasional panic from time to time. 【限时训练】(限时:60分钟) 阅读七选五(一) A (2025·湖北省武汉市高三五月模拟训练) By my early 40s, I had tried every hobby meant to ease the transition(过渡) into middle age:learning a new language, an abandoned project, and even yoga. B (2025·河北省唐山市高三一模) If you are the kind of person who overreacts and rushes in, I get it.You might think you can escape the pain of what you are experiencing by getting overly eager and taking control.I used to overreact, but the problem was it never seemed to help. 1 It brought about more drama, stress, confusion, and chaos.Overreacting felt like experiencing the same thing twice.
