A Proposal for Advocating Green Lifestyle Dear friends. Environmental protection is not only a responsibility but also a way to ensure a better future for ourselves and our children. In recent years, environmental issues such as plastic pollution and deforestation have become increasingly prominent, threatening the ecological balance and sustainable development of our planet. It's time for us to take action and make environmental protection a part of our daily life. To promote a green lifestyle and enhance environmental awareness,we propose the following actions: Firstly, save energy by turning off lights and unplugging electrical devices when they are not in use.We should also choose energy-saving products and make full use of renewable energy like solar power. Secondly, reduce waste and practice resource conservation.Let's start sorting garbage into different categories such as recyclables and non-recyclables,and recycle materials as much as possible. In addi- tion,we can go paperless in our work and study to cut down on paper usage.Thirdly, cut down on the use of plastic products. It's better to use eco-friendly bags instead of plastic bags when shopping to reduce plastic pollution.Fourthly, choose green transportation.Use public transport, ride a bike or walk instead of driving cars to improve air quality and reduce carbon footprint. Finally, actively partic- ipate in ecological protection activities.Plant trees to protect biodiversity and maintain the ecological balance. We should realize that every small action we take can make a difference to the environment.A green lifestyle helps reduce our carbon footprint and contributes to sustainable development.Let's work together to build a greener and more beautiful world for everyone.Join us in advocating a green lifestyle and let's protect our planet hand in hand. Let's take action now！ 2 选择性必修2沪教版（上外版） 【话题6】 创作倡导绿色生活的倡议书 Advocates of Green Lifestyle [Your Name/Organization] [Date] 3
