Audio script
Host: Welcome to Teenagers’ Voice. Today we’re going to interview two students from Bridge Middle School in the UK. They are Doris and David. Their classes have raised money for their school and elderly people in the community. First, let’s talk to Doris. What did your class do, Doris?
Doris: We raised money for our school.
Host: When did you do that?
Doris: Last month.
Host: How did your class raise money for your school?
Doris: We organized a dance competition for students. They paid money to take part.
Host: Wow! That’s great. How much money did you raise?
Doris: We raised more than four hundred pounds. We have enough money to buy new books for the school library now.
Host: Thank you, Doris. And now David, please tell us, who did your class raise money for?
David: We raised money for elderly people in the community.
Host: What did your class do?
David: Well, our class organized a book fair in the school stadium. All the students sold their old books.
Host: That’s very good, David. You raised three hundred and fifty pounds. Is that right? And what will you use the money for?
David: Yes. We’ll use the money to buy food and clothes for elderly people in the community.
Host: That’s great!
