Did you know that the Silk Road was neither an actual road nor a single route?（句子） 总结： 在句子中充当宾语成分的从句（句子）称为宾语从句。它既可以做动词的宾语，也可以做介词和形容词的宾语。 例： I know what you are thinking.我知道你在想什么？ 二.宾语从句中的连接词 1.that 2.whether/if 3.特殊疑问词 when , where, how, why , what, who ,whose等 常用的连接词 结构与用法 例句 that： 陈述句充当宾语从句 that没有实际含义，在从句中 只起连接作用,口语中常可省略。 My friend said （that ）he always obeys the traffic rules. 我朋友说他总是遵守交通规则的 weathe/ if 一般疑问句充当宾语从句 whether/if表示“是否”，在从句中起连接作用。①一般情况下，whether和if可以替换，但与or not连用时，只能用whether，不能用if；②在介词之后，在动词不定式之前，只能用whether。③在条件状语从句中，只能用if引导，if译成“如果”。 1.I don't know whether they will take part in a volunteer work tomorrow or not.我不知道他们明天是否参加志愿者工作。 2.I wonder if the meeting room is large enough to hold 200 people. 我想知道这间会议室是否能容纳200个人。 3.I worry about whether I hurt her feelings. 4.The students will go on a picnic if it is sunny. 连接代词what/whichwho/whose, 连接副词when/where how why 特殊疑问句充当宾语从句 特殊疑问词都有自己的含义，在从句中做一定的语法成分。 Could you tell me what was used to build the Great Wall? （宾语） 你能告诉我长城是用什么建造的吗？ He explained why the Silk Road was so important at that time. 他解释了为什么丝绸之路在当时如此重要。（状语） 三.宾语从句的语序 宾语从句的语序为陈述句语序，即”连接词+主语+谓语+其他成分”。 无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句，宾语从句都必须使用陈述句语序。 例如:Could you tell me where the Silk Road exhibition is?(√) 你能告诉我丝绸之路展览在哪里吗？ 而不能写成：Could you tell me where is the Silk Road exhibition?(×) 四.宾语从句的时态 从句的时态受主句的限制，根据实际情况而定。如果主句是一般现在时或将来时，从句的时态基本不受限制，如果主句的时态是一般过去时，从句一般改为相应的过去时态。 例如: 1.I don't know if there will be an exhibition in the museum tomorrow. 我不知道明天博物馆里是否会有展览。 （主句用的是一般现在时，而从句用的是一般将来时。） 另外，如果宾语从句是客观真理、自然现象或事实，这时宾语从句要用一般现在时。例如: The teacher told us that light travels faster than sound. 老师告诉我们：光比声音传播的快。 2.The picture shows how paper was made in ancient China. 这幅图显示了中国古代是如何造纸的。 （此句中，主句用的是一般现在时，而从句用的是一般过去时。） 3.I remembered that Lucy was writing a paper about the Silk Road. 我记得露西正在写一篇关于丝绸之路的论文。 （主句用的是一般过去时，所以从句用的是过去进行时。） Task15 Read and underline.读以下句子，标出宾语从句。 1) The book describes how Bi Sheng invented clay types in the 11th century. 2) I don’t know if there will be an exhibition in the museum tomorrow. 3) I’ve learned in class that culture is part of a civilization. 4) He explained why the Silk Road was so important at that time. 5) Do you know who made the first printing machine? 6) History tells us that mutual learning was important between different civilizations.
