According to a new survey, 2025 will be dominated by travelers chasing unique and novel experiences, with four key trends taking center stage. Noctourism Noctourism, the practice of traveling to fully experience the night, is on the rise. This trend will see travelers seeking specific dark-sky zones to admire the solar system through activities like stargazing and tracking constellations (星座) . For 60% of respondents, the motivation is to witness the wonders of a clear, light-pollution-free sky. Others see it as a healthier alternative, aiming to reduce their exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays while on holiday. Longevity Retreats The classic wellness holiday is getting a modern upgrade with “longevity retreats”, which focus on the pursuit of a longer, healthier life. With 60% of travelers interested, these trips incorporate cutting-edge health experiences like red light therapy, cryotherapy (冷冻疗法) , and stem cell treatments. The goal shifts from momentary relaxation to achieving lasting health benefits that extend well beyond the vacation itself. AI-Led Holidays While some enjoy the planning stage, many find it overwhelming. The solution for 2025 is turning to AI. A significant number of travelers are keen to use AI tools to discover less crowded spots or secret treasures, with a growing interest in fully AI-designed travel plans to ensure a perfect, stress-free getaway. Multigenerational Trips The trend of “Spending Kids’ Inheritance (遗产) ” (SKI) is continuing strongly. Nearly half of all travelers, particularly from older generations, prefer to spend their money on a trip of a lifetime rather than leaving it as an inheritance. This is good news for younger family members, as multigenerational travel will rise in 2025, with 80% of the elderly happy to fund holidays that prioritize shared experiences over material wealth. 21. Why do 60% of respondents choose noctourism according to the passage? A. To enjoy a clear sky without light pollution. B. To explore off-the-beaten-path locations. C. To gain some knowledge about the solar system. D. To reduce exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays. 22. Which trip highlights lasting positive impact on health? A. Noctourism. B. AI-Led Holidays. C. Longevity Retreats. D. Multigenerational Trips. 23. What can be inferred about multigenerational trips from the text? A. Younger family members usually cover the travel costs. B. The “Spending Kids’ Inheritance” trend results in their development. C. Older travelers prefer material wealth over shared travel experiences. D. Older travelers fund the trips at the cost of their children’s inheritance. B I packed my family into our old car and set off on a 3,000 km trip from Sydney to the outback, hoping to create lasting memories for the kids. My plan seemed ambitious — covering such distances with two young kids in the back might sound crazy to a sensible person. For most of the journey, we often felt annoyed, arguing about the remaining distance and the discomfort in the car. I’d had outback road trip memories as a kid and wanted my city-raised children to see the vast open spaces. At a bird-hide near Forbes, we watched a swamp with bright green water and dead trees. Eager to share Australian folk stories, I confidently told the kids that a mysterious creature lived there — but stumbled when they asked me follow-up questions. Their enthusiasm for the smallest joy knocked me for six. At a roadside motel that looked like a movie set, the kids loved being woken by the night trains, cheering each time. After three days, we reached Broken Hill — a town dominated by a big slag heap (矿渣堆), just as remarkable as I remembered. Surrounded by kilometers of mineral-rich land, its streets imply its mining roots. I feared the mineral museum would bore the kids, but they yelled with joy, thinking it was real-life Minecraft. The trip wasn’t fantastic — I even complained about hard mattresses on the bed and small towels. But on Easter morning, the kids went wild for a simple egg hunt in our cheap motel room, thrilled to search every corner. I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along. 24. Why did the author organize the trip? A. To explore the locals’ unique lifestyle. B. To make shared memories for the family. C. To document the kids’ exposure to nature. D. To relive the special outback experiences. 25. What does the underlined word “stumbled” in paragraph 3 probably mean? A. Tripped over my words. B. Argued about the stories. C. Subscribed to their views. D. Reflected on the memories. 26. What does the author think of the trip? A. It well fulfills its original purpose. B. It is worthwhile despite inconveniences. C. It leaves the family an unpleasant memory. D. It is an ambitious but disappointing attempt. 27. What key message does the author try to convey through the passage? A. Travel joy lies in overcoming challenges. B. City-raised kids can easily adapt to the outback. C. We gain unexpected insights through kids’ eyes. D. The outback offers more unique sights than cities. C For twenty years, the internet has been my second home while communicating science. Recently, I came across an image: a crying Earth surrounded by fallen trees, declaring, “No intelligent species would destroy their own home.” This image troubled me deeply. I refuse to let my eight-year-old son believe humans are stupid or evil — because it’s obviously untrue. But I often find myself quite lonely. I’m wondering if, perhaps, there are other folks out there who feel the same as I do. We didn’t cause climate change through being stupid, but through being extremely smart. Our ancestors burned coal to solve urgent problems: growing more food, heating and lighting homes. We want to provide a good life for ourselves and our children. The results have been astonishing. In the U.S. in 1895 one quarter of people died before age five. Today it’s under 1 percent, and we will keep pushing until it hits zero. Imagine the essays Ben Franklin or Mark Twain would write about this level of advancement. How would they keep tears from their eyes if they saw what we’ve achieved? So much of that achievement has been based on the fossil fuels we’ve burned to generate it, whether coal, natural gas or oil. We’ve learned that this harms both the environment and people, and to our credit we aren’t always bad at addressing this. It was not long ago that London cleaned its smoke-blackened air. When rain becomes acidic, the world changes its policies. When harms are done locally, we tend to be pretty good at cleaning things up. Here’s where I feel hope: we have already done this, and we know it is possible. I don’t want my son growing up thinking that his species is in some way evil. I want him thinking humans are problem solvers, and whatever strategies we take to fix global warming will create more new problems, too. This is a pretty normal story for intelligent species. 28. How did the author feel seeing the picture online? A Ashamed. B. Disturbed. C. Frightened. D. Confused. 29. According to the author, what is the primary reason behind climate change? A Human evil nature and short-sightedness. B. A lack of advanced technology in the past. C. The pursuit of a better life using intelligence. D. The rapid growth of the global population. 30. What gives the author hope in addressing environmental problems? A. The complete replacement of fossil fuels. B. The declining global birth rate. C. The development of problem-free strategies. D. Humanity’s proven ability to solve local environmental issues. 31. What is the core message about humanity that the author intends to pass on to his son? A. The essence of humanity is problem-solving, not destruction. B. Human intellect is the fundamental cause of its environmental issues. C. Environmental damage has permanently overshadowed our technological gains. D. A sustainable future requires a complete break from fossil fuels. D When Inside Higher Education recently interviewed college students about their reading. Ava Wherley, a biology major, complained, “Academic texts usually use extremely complex language, which makes them harder to read. I have to rely on short videos for comprehension.” But Wherley is not, as she believes, a visual learner. Instead, she’s just a struggling reader with a fluency at a middle-school reading level. In this respect, Wherley has plenty of company. According to the study, millions of college students in the US have to rely on videos or AI for their reading nowadays, largely because they struggle with reading comprehension beyond a basic level. The interviewers have further revealed that students struggle with reading mainly because teachers have reduced the amount and complexity of students’ reading materials in primary and secondary grades. They have found that most teachers in secondary education usually assign short reading passages. And, in the few classes where students read books, they usually receive summaries, which “just ruins the whole story,” as Wherley protested. “However, when kids read entire novels without notes or summaries, they discover the pleasures of reading. Such kind of reading gives even avoidant readers the enhanced vocabulary they need to become better readers,” the interviewers write in their report. Another major finding from the research is that reading frequency accounts for 13% of the variation between strong and weak readers in elementary grades, a difference that climbs to 30% in high school and 34% in college students. Moreover, as the study has revealed, students who read entire books in their leisure time enjoy the most significant benefits to their reading comprehension. “Despite these significant benefits, only 14 percent of the students reported reading in their leisure time,” the report concludes. “The result perfectly illustrates the Matthew Effect: the more they avoid reading, the harder they’ll find reading. In other words, students may be caught in a vicious (恶性) cycle that ruins their success in college, the workplace, and life, including their ability to understand a complex argument or make an informed decision.” 32 Why does Ava Wherley turn to short videos? A. The reading materials are boring. B. The academic texts are too complex. C. She fails to reach the required reading fluency. D. She is a student with learning disabilities. 33. What might the researchers advise teachers to do in secondary education? A. Encourage students to read entire books. B. Ask students to read notes or summaries. C. Help weak readers learn the new words first. D. Give struggling students short reading passages. 34. What can be inferred from the last paragraph? A. Students should be given more leisure time. B. Avoidant students need more encouragement. C. American students are happy with their reading skills. D. Reading fluency is critical for students’ success. 35. What is the author’s main purpose in writing the text? A. To find out the root cause of reading problems. B. To introduce the findings of a recent survey. C. To review a newly published educational report. D. To expose the problems in the US higher education. For the past five years, chef and author Samin Nosrat has been doing something that, for many can feel impossible. The ceremony was to be held in a large auditorium downtown on a damp December afternoon. As I prepared for this important day, choosing a simple black dress and even putting on makeup — both unusual for me — my mind was occupied with anxiety rather than excitement. Due to my neurological condition (神经系统疾病) that affected my mobility and coordination (协调性), the upcoming ceremony filled me with fear. I had learned that I would need to negotiate a flight of stairs during the proceedings. The mere thought of walking across the stage was terrifying enough, but the additional challenge of stairs seemed impossible. To make matters worse, I would have to shake hands with my professors and receive my diploma with my right hand, which has limited control due to my condition These seemingly small details felt like impossible obstacles Consumed by fear, I called Sally in tears, telling her I couldn’t go through with it. She had been my notetaker throughout university because of my condition, but she was far more than that. We had been through many rough spots during the past two years. We took all our classes together, studied together, and edited each other’s work. Sally listened patiently as I poured out my anxieties. Then, she responded with determined support. “You are walking, damn it!” she declared firmly. She promised to handle everything and made me promise to show up at the auditorium. Though still fearful, I splashed cold water on my tear-stained face, touched up my makeup, and whispered to myself, “I’m doing this.” When I arrived at the auditorium, the reality of those frightening stairs hit me again. Just as panic began to seize me. Sally found me immediately. She hugged me tightly and assured me, “I have it all worked out. It’s going to be fine.” To my surprise, I noticed many of my classmates gathered nearby, their faces filled with warm smiles and encouraging nods. At this, I felt a surge of strength flowing through me, though I still couldn’t imagine how I would manage the challenges ahead. Paragraph 1: As my name was called, I took a deep breath and began moving toward the stage. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Walking down the stairs on the other side, I felt an overwhelming surge of pride. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 高三英语试卷 本试卷满分150分,考试用时120分钟。 Who will be absent from the party this evening? A Younger family members usually cover the travel costs. B. The “Spending Kids’ Inheritance” trend results in their development. C. Older travelers prefer material wealth over shared travel experiences. D. Older travelers fund the trips at the cost of their children’s inheritance. A 22. C 23. 根据Noctourism部分中的“For 60% of respondents, the motivation is to witness the wonders of a clear, light-pollution-free sky. (60% 的受访者表示,他们的出行动机是欣赏澄澈、无光污染的夜空美景。)”可知,60% 受访者选择夜间旅游的动机是欣赏澄澈、无灯光污染的夜空美景。故选A。 根据Longevity Retreats部分中的“The goal shifts from momentary relaxation to achieving lasting health benefits that extend well beyond the vacation itself. (其目标已从短暂的放松转变为获取长效健康益处,而这种益处的影响将远远超出度假本身。)”可知,该部分对健康产生长效积极的影响。故选C。 【23题详解】 推理判断题。根据Multigenerational Trips部分中的“The trend of “Spending Kids’ Inheritance (遗产) ” (SKI) is continuing strongly. Nearly half of all travelers, particularly from older generations, prefer to spend their money on a trip of a lifetime rather than leaving it as an inheritance. (花子女遗产的潮流依旧热度高涨。近半数游客(尤其是老一辈游客)更愿意把钱花在一场终生难忘的旅行上,而非将其留作遗产。)”可推断,年长游客会以牺牲子女的遗产为代价,为这些旅行出资。故选D。 B I packed my family into our old car and set off on a 3,000 km trip from Sydney to the outback, hoping to create lasting memories for the kids. B 25. A 26. B 27. 根据第一段中“I packed my family into our old car and set off on a 3,000 km trip from Sydney to the outback, hoping to create lasting memories for the kids. (我把家人塞进我们的旧车里,从悉尼出发,踏上了3000公里的内陆之旅,希望能给孩子们留下永恒的回忆。)”可知,作者组织这次旅行是为了给家人创造共同的回忆。故选B。 【25题详解】 词句猜测题。根据第三段中“Eager to share Australian folk stories, I confidently told the kids that a mysterious creature lived there — but stumbled when they asked me follow-up questions. (我迫不及待地想和孩子们分享澳大利亚的民间故事,自信地告诉他们那里住着一个神秘的生物——但当他们问我后续问题时,我却stumbled。)”可知,作者自信地给孩子们讲故事,但是当孩子们问后续问题的时候,作者却回答不上来,由此可知,stumbled意思是“说话结结巴巴,不流畅”,与“Tripped over my words. (说话结结巴巴。)”意思相近。故选A。 根据最后一段中“The trip wasn’t fantastic — I even complained about hard mattresses on the bed and small towels. But on Easter morning, the kids went wild for a simple egg hunt in our cheap motel room, thrilled to search every corner. I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along. (这次旅行并不精彩——我甚至抱怨床上的硬床垫和小毛巾。但在复活节早晨,孩子们在我们便宜的汽车旅馆房间里疯狂地寻找鸡蛋,兴奋地搜遍了每一个角落。我本想教孩子们了解我们州遥远的地方,但实际上,孩子们一直是我能要求的最好的视角。)”可推知,作者认为这次旅行尽管有不便之处,但还是值得的。故选B。 【27题详解】 推理判断题。根据最后一段中“I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along. (我本想教孩子们了解我们州遥远的地方,但实际上,孩子们一直是我能要求的最好的视角。)”可知,作者想通过文章传达的关键信息是“我们通过孩子的眼睛获得了意想不到的见解”。故选C。 C For twenty years, the internet has been my second home while communicating science. A. Ashamed. B. Disturbed. C. Frightened. D. Confused. 29. According to the author, what is the primary reason behind climate change? A. Human evil nature and short-sightedness. B 29. C 30. D 31. 根据第一段“Recently, I came across an image: a crying Earth surrounded by fallen trees, declaring, “No intelligent species would destroy their own home.” This image troubled me deeply.(最近,我看到一张图片:地球在哭泣,周围是倒下的树木,上面写着:“没有哪个有智慧的物种会毁掉自己的家园。”这张图片让我深感不安)”可知,作者看到网上的图片后感到不安。故选B项。 【29题详解】 细节理解题。根据第二段“We didn’t cause climate change through being stupid, but through being extremely smart. Our ancestors burned coal to solve urgent problems: growing more food, heating and lighting homes. We want to provide a good life for ourselves and our children.(我们并非因愚蠢而造成了气候变化,而是因为太过聪明才导致了气候变化。我们的先辈燃烧煤炭是为了解决紧迫的问题:增加粮食产量、为房屋供暖和照明。而我们想要为自己和我们的后代创造美好的生活)”可知,造成气候变化的主要原因是通过运用智慧来追求更美好的生活。故选C项。 【30题详解】 细节理解题。根据第三段“It was not long ago that London cleaned its smoke-blackened air. When rain becomes acidic, the world changes its policies. When harms are done locally, we tend to be pretty good at cleaning things up. Here’s where I feel hope: we have already done this, and we know it is possible.(就在不久前,伦敦还清理了被烟雾熏黑的空气。当雨水开始酸化时,世界便调整了相关政策。当危害发生在本地时,我们往往能很好地进行整治。这正是我抱有希望的原因:我们已经做到过这些,也知道这是可能的。)”可知,作者感到有希望的原因是人类已有修复环境破坏的先例,即“我们能修复对环境的破坏”。故选D项。 【31题详解】 细节理解题。根据最后一段“I want him thinking humans are problem solvers, and whatever strategies we take to fix global warming will create more new problems, too. This is a pretty normal story for intelligent species.(我希望他能明白,人类是善于解决问题的生物,而我们为应对全球变暖所采取的任何措施都会带来新的问题。对于智慧型物种来说,这种情况是很常见的)”可知,作者想要将关于人类的核心理念传达给他的儿子是人类的本质在于解决问题,而非破坏。故选A项。 D When Inside Higher Education recently interviewed college students about their reading. In other words, students may be caught in a vicious (恶性的) cycle that ruins their success in college, the workplace, and life, including their ability to understand a complex argument or make an informed decision.” 32. Why does Ava Wherley turn to short videos? 35 What is the author’s main purpose in writing the text? A. To find out the root cause of reading problems. B. To introduce the findings of a recent survey. C. To review a newly published educational report. D. To expose the problems in the US higher education. C 33. A 34. D 35. 根据第二段中“But Wherley is not, as she believes, a visual learner. Instead, she’s just a struggling reader with a fluency at a middle-school reading level. (但Wherley并不像她自己认为的那样是一个视觉学习者。相反,她只是一个阅读困难的读者,阅读流畅度只达到中学水平。)”可知,Ava Wherley求助短视频是因为她没有达到所需的阅读流畅度。故选C项。 【33题详解】 推理判断题。根据第三段中“The interviewers have further revealed that students struggle with reading mainly because teachers have reduced the amount and complexity of students’ reading materials in primary and secondary grades. (采访者们进一步透露,学生在阅读方面存在困难,主要是因为中小学教师减少了学生阅读材料的数量并降低了其复杂度。)”以及第四段““However, when kids read entire novels without notes or summaries, they discover the pleasures of reading. Such kind of reading gives even avoidant readers the enhanced vocabulary they need to become better readers,” the interviewers write in their report. (“然而,当孩子们阅读整本小说且不借助注释或摘要时,他们会发现阅读的乐趣。这种阅读方式甚至能让那些不爱读书的孩子掌握更多词汇,而这些词汇正是他们成为更优秀读者所需要的,”采访者在他们的报告中写道。)”可知,研究者认为教师应鼓励学生阅读完整书籍而非依赖摘要。故选A项。 根据最后一段中“The result perfectly illustrates the Matthew Effect: the more they avoid reading, the harder they’ll find reading. In other words, students may be caught in a vicious (恶性的) cycle that ruins their success in college, the workplace, and life, including their ability to understand a complex argument or make an informed decision. (这一结果完美地阐释了马太效应:他们越回避阅读,就会觉得阅读越困难。换句话说,学生们可能会陷入一个恶性循环,这会毁掉他们在大学、职场以及生活中的成功,包括他们理解复杂论点或做出明智决策的能力。)”可推知,阅读流畅度对学生的成功至关重要。故选D项。 【35题详解】 推理判断题。纵览全文,根据第一段中“When Inside Higher Education recently interviewed college students about their reading. Click here to jump to the recipes. “The key to maintaining these dinners is to ritualize (仪式化) it.” writes Nosrat, who thinks the gatherings are less about the menu and more about eating and cooking together. “___38___. In other words, we have to avoid the guesswork of when and where your dinner will happen for the group. Choose the same day, time and location—and keep it. So everyone is familiar with the kitchen, the space and the pantry.” There are a few kids in Nosrat’s dinner group, and she loves to get them in the kitchen. “Think about any step in the meal preparation that the kids can do themselves.” she suggests in the book. “___39___. So whatever it is, keep it simple. Otherwise, they will soon mess it up.” She also offers various simple ways to make the occasion special: ___40___. A. Weekly dinners are a team effort B. First of all, we have to create familiarity C. But cooking with kids can quickly get messy D. At first, she thought her friends would be too busy for it E. When kids help cook, they’re more likely to be curious about the meal F. Published in September, the book includes many recipes for group meals G. Send the kids out to pick flowers for the table or hold a brief ceremony before the meal 【答案】36. D 37. F 38. B 39. C 40. G 【解析】 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。主要讲述了Samin Nosrat每周一与朋友聚餐的故事。 【36题详解】 根据后文“But over time, the dinner—held every Monday night for about 10 guests at a friend’s house—has become one of the most meaningful activities in all of their lives.(但随着时间的推移,每周一晚上在朋友家举行的约10位客人的晚宴已成为他们一生中最有意义的活动之一)”可知,空处和后文构成转折关系,所以D项“At first, she thought her friends would be too busy for it(起初,她认为她的朋友们会太忙而没有时间)”讲述刚开始时可能遇到的困难,和后文构成转折,符合文意。故选D项。 【37题详解】 根据前文“Nosrat writes about the magic that holds her weekly dinners together and shares her all-time favorite dishes in Good Things: Recipes and Rituals to Share with People You Love.(Nosrat在《好东西:与你爱的人分享的食谱和仪式》一书中写下了她每周一起吃饭的魔力,并分享了她一直以来最喜欢的菜肴)”以及后文“Click here to jump to the recipes.(点击这里跳转到食谱)”可知,此处是在介绍Nosrat分享的食谱,所以F项“Published in September, the book includes many recipes for group meals(这本书于今年9月出版,书中包含了许多集体用餐的食谱)”符合本段主题,承接前后文。故选F项。 38题详解】 根据前文““The key to maintaining these dinners is to ritualize (仪式化) it.” writes Nosrat, who thinks the gatherings are less about the menu and more about eating and cooking together.(诺斯拉特写道:“维持这些晚餐的关键是将其仪式化。”她认为聚会的重点不在于菜单,而在于一起吃饭和做饭)”以及后文“In other words, we have to avoid the guesswork of when and where your dinner will happen for the group. Choose the same day, time and location—and keep it. So everyone is familiar with the kitchen, the space and the pantry.(换句话说,我们必须避免猜测你的晚餐将在何时何地举行。选择相同的日期、时间和地点,并坚持下去。所以每个人都熟悉厨房、空间和食品室)”可知,此处在讲述如何将晚餐仪式化,所以B项“First of all, we have to create familiarity(首先,我们必须创造熟悉感)”承接上文,后文是对本句的详细解释。故选B项。 【39题详解】 根据前文“There are a few kids in Nosrat’s dinner group, and she loves to get them in the kitchen. “Think about any step in the meal preparation that the kids can do themselves.” she suggests in the book.(Nosrat的晚餐小组里有几个孩子,她喜欢让他们进厨房。她在书中建议:“考虑一下孩子们可以自己做的任何准备饭菜的步骤。”)”可知,本段讲述晚餐中的孩子们,所以C项“But cooking with kids can quickly get messy(但是和孩子们一起做饭很快就会变得一团糟)”符合本段主题,并引出下文“So whatever it is, keep it simple. Otherwise, they will soon mess it up.(所以不管是什么,保持简单。否则,他们很快就会把事情搞砸)”。故选C项。 【40题详解】 根据前文“She also offers various simple ways to make the occasion special(她还提供了各种简单的方法让这个场合变得特别)”以及冒号可知,后文应是具体举例,所以G项“Send the kids out to pick flowers for the table or hold a brief ceremony before the meal(让孩子们出去采些花来装饰餐桌,或者在饭前举行一个简短的仪式)”符合文意。故选G项。 第三部分 语言知识运用(共两节, 满分 30 分) 第一节 (共 15小题;每小题 1分,满分 15分) My parents asked if I wanted to take a six-day hiking trip with them in Chamonix, France. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题纸的相应位置作答。 Paragraph 1: As my name was called, I took a deep breath and began moving toward the stage. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Walking down the stairs on the other side, I felt an overwhelming surge of pride. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 As my name was called, I took a deep breath and began moving toward the stage. My legs felt heavy, each step a struggle against my own limitations. But Sally was right there beside me, her steady presence a source of comfort. As we reached the stairs, I felt a wave of panic wash over me. Yet, just as I started to falter, a pair of strong hands from behind steadied me. It was one of my classmates, silently offering his support. With renewed determination, I ascended each step, one at a time, until I finally stood at the top, facing the proud smiles of my professors. Walking down the stairs on the other side, I felt an overwhelming surge of pride. Tears of joy blurred my vision as I realized I had overcome not just the physical challenge of the stairs, but also the mental barriers that had held me back. Sally was waiting for me at the bottom, her eyes shining with pride and relief. As I embraced her, I knew that this moment was not just about receiving a diploma; it was about proving to myself and to the world that with the support of loved ones, I could conquer any obstacle that came my way. 词汇激活 行为类 ①到达楼梯:reach the stairs/arrive at the stairs ②爬楼梯:ascend each step/mount each step ③拥抱:embrace/hug 情绪类 ①恐慌:panic/trepidation ②高兴:joy/delight 【点睛】[高分句型1] As we reached the stairs, I felt a wave of panic wash over me.
