Our habitat on Mars is a large dome with an innovative life support system. Not only does it provide oxygen for us to breathe, but also it protects us from harmful radiation. The reason why we need solar power here is that there are limited other resources.Every morning,I wake up to the soft light from solar panels and start my day by checking the life support system. Compared with life on Earth, living on Mars requiresus to adapt to many differences. We have to carry out experiments in the research lab and drive Mars rovers to collect soil samples.Sometimes,I can see Phobos, one of Mars'moons, shining in the distance. What I like most is floating freely in zero gravity, which makes me feel like a bird. It is challenging for humans to colonize Mars due to its extreme environment, but the isolation is worth it.Every time I look at Earth from Mars,I feel proud ofhuman exploration.I prefer to experience this unique life rather than just read about it in books.Maybe one day,my dream will come true, and I can call Mars my second home. 5
