动词不定式作状语
用来修饰谓语动词、形容词、副词或整个句子,说明动作的目的、原因、结果、程度等
to + 动词原形(否定式:not to + 动词原形)
1. 表目的:in order to, so as to(否定式:in order not to, so as not to)
2. 表原因:be + 形容词(happy, glad, sorry, sad 等) + to do
3. 表结果:only to, so...as to, such...as to
1. 表目的: gets up early to catch the first bus.(她早起是为了赶第一班车。)He studied hard in order not to fail the exam.(他努力学习是为了不考试不及格。)
2. 表原因:I'm glad to see you again.(再次见到你我很高兴。) was sad to hear the bad news.(听到这个坏消息她很伤心。)3. 表结果:He rushed to the station, only to find the train had left.(他冲到车站,却发现火车已经开走了。) so moving as to make many people cry.(这部电影太感人了,让很多人哭了。)
1. 表目的时,in order to 可置于句首或句中,so as to 只能置于句中;
2.表结果时,only to 常表示 “出乎意料的结果”;
3. 不定式作状语时,其逻辑主语通常与句子主语一致。

补充说明宾语的动作或状态,与宾语构成 “宾语 + 宾语补足语” 的复合宾语结构
谓语动词 + 宾语 + to + 动词原形(否定式:谓语动词 + 宾语 + not to + 动词原形)(部分动词后省 to:动词 + 宾语 + 动词原形)
1. 接 to do 作宾补的动词:ask, tell, want, wish, encourage, invite, teach, order, remind, warn 等

1. 省 to 的动词在被动语态中,to 要还原:He was made to work overtime by the boss.(他被老板要求加班。)
2.动词 ask, tell, warn 等后接 not to do 表 “不让某人做某事”:She warned us not to swim in the river.(她警告我们不要在河里游泳。)
3. 当宾语是疑问词(who, what, where 等)时,不定式作宾补需置于疑问词后:I don't know what to do next.(我不知道接下来该做什么。)
