A.with B.by C.in D.without
with和……一起;by由……创作;in在…… 根据“the famous paintings ...
2.—The math problem is too difficult for me.
—Try your best. I believe you have the ________ to work it out.
A.request B.license C.ability D.guard
根据“Try your best. I believe you have the…to work it out.”
3.Nancy enjoys light music. She thinks it can make her feel ________.
A.relaxing B.tiring C.relaxed D.tired
She thinks it can make her feel...”
4.If you ________ your dream and never give up, you’ll achieve it at last.
A.end up B.deal with C.stick to D.shut off
end up最终成为;deal with处理、应对;stick to坚持;shut off关闭。根据“If you ... your dream and never give up”可知,与“永不放弃”形成逻辑一致应是“坚持梦想”。故选C。
5.—Whose bike is this?
—It ________ be Jim’s. He often rides it to school.
A.must B.mustn’t C.can D.can’t
【答案】A
根据“He often rides it to school”可知,自行车是Jim的,因此需用表示肯定推测的情态动词。故选A。
6.Good students not only follow rules but also dare ________ in new ways.
A.think B.thinking C.to thinking D.to think
根据“Good students not only follow rules but also dare ... in new ways.”可知,句子为肯定句,不符合“dare”作为情态动词的用法,因此这里考查dare to do sth.,应用不定式to think。故选D。
7.It’s said that tea ________ by accident about five thousand years ago.
A.is invented B.was invented C.invented D.will be invented
8.—________ fast our country’s technology is developing!
—Yes. We take pride in living in such a great country.
A.What B.What a C.How D.How a
根据“…fast our country’s technology is developing!”
9.—What did you do last night?
—We watched a great movie ________ made everyone laugh.
A.which B.what C.who D.whom
【答案】A
根据“We watched a great movie…made everyone laugh.” 故选A。
10.—Excuse me, could you tell me ________?
—Sure. You can take No. 7 bus to go there.
A.when can I get to the park B.how can I get to the park
C.when I can get to the park D.how I can get to the park
选项A和B为疑问句语序,错误;根据答语“You can take No. 7 bus to go there.”

An “air taxi” seems like science fiction, but you’ll probably be able to take one in the near future. On February 27, 2024, an eVTOL aircraft finished its first test flight in Guangdong and got a lot of attention from around the world.
The flight started from Shekou Cruise Home Port in Shenzhen to Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai. The distance (距离) between these two places is about 60 kilometers. The whole trip took about 20 minutes by the eVTOL aircraft. It will be a faster choice for passengers travelling between Shenzhen and Zhuhai in Guangzhou. Travelling by car, however, usually takes about two to three hours.
The eVTOL aircraft looks like a small plane. Unlike a plane, it doesn’t need a long runway to take off and land on the ground. Instead, it can go straight up and down. This new aircraft is powered by electricity. It can travel 250 kilometers on a single charge. It can carry up to five people at a speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour.
The eVTOL aircraft was developed by a high-tech company named Prosperity. The company is applying for a permit (许可证) for an operation. If everything goes well, it hopes that the aircraft will start carrying passengers in 2026.
Moreover, Guangzhou is making efforts to encourage low-altitude flights (低空飞行), which will be used in many areas such as low-altitude tourism, delivery (运输), and farming in the future. Many experts believe that the achievements of low-altitude flights will make a great contribution to the city’s development.
