定义与词性
can 是情态动词,无人称和数的变化。
含义:表示“能;会;可以”,可用来描述能力。
特点:后面必须跟动词原形。
例句:I can draw well, so I like the art club.快速小测(判断对错)

用法1:表示能力(强调“会做某事”)
肯定句
结构:主语 + can + 动词原形 + 其他.
例句:
a.I can swim.
b.She can play the piano in the music club.
否定句变化:直接在 can 后加 not,缩写为 can’t.
否定句
结构:主语 + can’t + 动词原形 + 其他.
例句:
a.I can’t play the guitar.
b.He can’t join the chess club because he can’t play chess.
对比:can vs can’t,读出不同语气。
一般疑问句及回答
结构:Can + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + can.
否定回答:No, 主语 + can’t.
例句:—Can you draw?

一、用 can 或 can’t 填空

回答:Sure. / Of course. / Sorry, you can’t.
用法3:表示推测(常用于否定句,“不可能”)
结构:主语 + can’t + 动词原形 + 其他.
例句:
a.That can’t be Lucy. She is in the sports club now.
b.The book can’t be his. His name isn’t on it.
注意:肯定推测常用 “must”,不用 can。
