四、重难点突破

名词的单复数形式

名词可以分为可数名词和不可数名词。可数名词有单数和复数之分，表示一个的用单数，表示两个或者两个以上的用复数。可数名词单数变复数的规则如下:

1.man→men,woman→women, tooth→teeth, foot→feet, goose→geese, child→children, mouse→mice

2.单复数同形:sheep，deer，Chinese，Japanese

3.以 man，woman 修饰名词构成合成词时，两个词都变化。如:man servant → men servants

拓展:1.可数名词作主语时，be动词的单复数形式要随着名词的单复数形式而变化。

如:My friend is from China.我的朋友来自中国。Her friends are from the U.S.她的朋友们来自美国

2.不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词要用单数形式。如: Chicken is my favourite food.鸡肉是我最爱的食物。
