There are many kinds of special inventions in our daily life. My favorite invention is the foldable smartphone.

The first foldable smartphone was invented by Liu Zihong in 2018 . My father bought one for me as my birthday gift last month. It is grey. It looks like a book. Its              screen is bigger than a common smartphone when it is unfolded, but when it is folded, it is much smaller than the other smartphones . I often use it to learn English, play games and watch movies. It is my real friend that always stays by my side.

在我们的日常生活中，有着各种各样新奇的发明。我最喜爱的发明是折叠屏智能手机。

全球首款折叠屏智能手机由刘自鸿于 2018 年研发问世。上个月，爸爸买了一台作为生日礼物送给我。它是灰色的，外形看起来就像一本书。展开屏幕时，它的尺寸要比普通智能手机大得多；而折叠起来后，又比其他手机小巧不少。我经常用它学英语、玩游戏、看电影。它就像一位形影不离的挚友，时刻陪伴在我身边。

Nowadays, millions of people want to be famous basketball players. There are advantages and disadvantages  about being a famous basketball player.

It is good to be a famous basketball player because I can receive many cheers from fans if I become a famous basketball player. Then, I can have more opportunities to contact with different people. And I can also make more money. However, it's bad to be a famous basketball player because it can influence my own freedom and space,even my personal life. I will also have less time to study .              

In my opinion, I think it is good to be a famous player. Because it can make my life more wonderful and I can make more money. What do you think of it?

 

 

成为一名知名篮球运动员，究竟是好是坏？

如今，数以百万计的人都渴望成为知名篮球运动员。成为知名篮球运动员这件事，既有优势，也有弊端。

成为知名篮球运动员是一件好事，因为如果我成了知名篮球运动员，就能收获球迷们的无数欢呼喝彩。而且，我还能拥有更多接触不同人群的机会，也能赚到更多钱。不过，成为知名篮球运动员也有不好的一面，它会影响我的个人自由与私人空间，甚至会打乱我的日常生活。我能用来学习的时间也会变得更少。

I have so many rules in my home. First, I mush get up early and make my bed every day. Second, I can't hang out with friends at night. Third, I'm not allowed to play computer games.

I agree that I must get up early and make my bed every day. Because it's a good habit and it is good for my health. I agree that I'm not allowed to play computer games . Because playing computer games might get in the way of my schoolwork. However, I think it's unfair that I can't hang out with friends at night. Because I think I should be allowed to spend time with my friends.              I hope I can hang out with my friends on weekends.

亲爱的汤姆：

我家有太多的家规了。第一，我每天必须早起，还要整理好自己的床铺。第二，晚上我不能和朋友们出去玩。第三，我不被允许玩电脑游戏。

我认同每天必须早起、整理床铺这一条，因为这是个好习惯，对我的健康也有好处。我也接受不允许玩电脑游戏的规定，因为玩电脑游戏可能会耽误我的学业。但是，我觉得晚上不能和朋友们出去玩这一条很不公平，因为我认为我应该有和朋友们相处的时间。我多希望周末能和朋友们一起外出啊。
