Math is a big challenge for many girls. They have trouble with math. They find it boring to learn, and naturally they worry about math tests. But that’s not true for Jenny. The 18-year-old girl is good at math. She doesn’t even have to take notes in most of her math classes. She simply pays attention to her math teacher and is able to understand everything in math class.
After graduating from high school, she received a full scholarship (奖学金) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She planned to study math and aerospace engineering (航空航天工程) at the university.

If you’re a “C” student in math, then you can join a group that has 3 “A” or “B” students so that you can improve your ability.
“The most important thing for us is to realize that math is just like anything else,” Jenny said. “Your gender is really no big deal. That is to say, girls and boys have the same ability to learn math well. Forget about what others think and just go for it.”

took me three hours to finish the housework
it takes sb. some time to do sth. 根据句意可知,句子应为一般过去时,谓语动词takes应变为took,故本题正确答案为took me three hours to finish the housework。

57. Please let us know ____________________________________ (无论你对什么
58. The price of this flat is _________________________________________ (比三
whatever you are not satisfied with
根据本句比较级结构句型中出现并列成分(主语之间)的比较,than 后用that 代替重复指代的部分,故本题正确答案为twice higher than that of three years ago。
从句中主语为you,使用一般现在时,be动词用are,否定形式在are后加not,故本题正确答案为whatever you are not satisfied with。
twice higher than that of three years ago

60. The boy is deaf by nature, so he can ______________________________ (既
had I finished eating
hardly…when…
neither read nor write
