【导语】本文主要介绍了几种帮助英语学习者有效学习和记忆新语法点的实用方法。
【16题详解】
句意:但对一些学生来说,记住新的语法点是困难的。
easy容易的;interesting有趣的;difficult困难的。根据“As we all know, studying grammar plays an important part in English learning.”以及“But”表转折可知,语法学习很重要,但是记住新语法点对于部分同学而言具有挑战性,应该选择表示困难的词。故选C。
【17题详解】

secrets秘诀;results结果;expressions表达。根据空后“that may help you learn the grammar points well”以及下文给出的具体学习方法可知,此处应该是给出一些学好新语法点的秘诀。故选A。

句意:在你学了一个新语法点之后,你应该在课后浏览课堂上所做的笔记。
When当……时;After在……之后;Before在……之前。根据空后“you’ve learned a new grammar point, you should look through what you wrote in the lesson after class”可知,在学习新语法点之后,课后需要浏览笔记进行复习巩固。故选B。

test测试;game游戏;promise承诺。根据下文“ Write some sentences…using the grammar point. Then you can erase (擦掉) the verb or…eave a blank (空白的) space where the verb should be. Your friend should try to write the verb correctly.”以及“Your friend can create a test for you, too.”可知,本段是在介绍学好新语法点的最后一个方法:给朋友做一个测试。故选A。
【23题详解】
句意:通过使用该语法点写一些句子。
to到;for为了;by通过。根据“Write some sentences…using the grammar point.”以及上下文语境可知,是通过使用该语法点写一些句子。by后接动名词,表示通过某种方式,符合语境。故选C。
【24题详解】
句意:然后你可以擦掉动词,或者仅仅在动词该出现的地方留出一个空白。
still依旧;just仅仅;already已经。根据空前“Then you can erase (擦掉) the verb or”可知,or连接两个选择,后者“leave a blank (空白的) space”是比“erase (擦掉) the verb”更简单的操作,just表示“只,仅仅”,强调只是留空即可,符合语境。故选B。
【25题详解】
句意:如果你对某事不确定,应该向他人求助。
nothing没有什么;anything任何东西;something某物,某事。根据下文“you should ask others for help”可知,此处表达的是“对某件事不确定”。故选C。

Do you often forget your password or your ID card? Now you needn’t worry about it. Using your face as your ID is quick and convenient. By scanning your face, you could take the subway or board a flight without taking tickets. This is how facial recognition (FR) works. It has also been used to unlock your smartphones and pay for what you buy.
In China, FR systems have been used in many areas. In Zhengzhou, people can now get on the subway by using FR technology. They just need to connect their online payment systems to the subway’s smartphone app. Students at Peking University can pass through the school’s gate by scanning their faces.
However, many people are worried about the collection and use of personal information. According to a survey, about 45 percent of people thought that FR technology was being wrongly used. What’s more, about 10 percent said their money was lost and their personal information was used by somebody else because their facial information was stolen. It’s true that many apps do have “holes” that could lead to leaks of personal information. This makes people worry about the safety of personal information. “Physical information, including faces and fingerprints, is one of the most important things that make people different. Unlike our IDs, which can be changed, this kind of information stays the same for life,” Zhang Xin told the reporter. He hopes there should be a law to keep it safe.
Tech companies are now using new technologies. They make it less likely for others to obtain people’s physical information directly. However there are still more things to be done. We believe one day we’ll never worry about it.

However, there are still more things to be done. We believe one day we’ll never worry about it.
