Speaking of our life in 2050, most people think there will be a lot of changes. The future is coming sooner than you think. New technologies will change the way we live and work and help us enjoy a better life.
Travel in space
In 2050, people will be able to travel in space. Some rocket companies, like Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin and Elon Musk’s SpaceX, will help people do that in 2050. For example, someone who would like to pay £100,000,000 could spend a week in space. It’s not going to be cheap soon.
Charge (充电) your phone in a new way
Do you know you can charge your phone with the power of a plant? Forests can become power stations in the future. In fact, it is becoming possible now. Bioo, a clean-tech company, has found a way to turn a plant into a charger.
Build airports for flying taxis
In the future there will be more flying electric taxis. And driving this kind of car is good for the environment. If so, we need airports for flying cars. Coventry, a city in the UK, has been chosen to host “Air One”—the world’s very first electric Urban-Air Port.

After talking with friends and doing some research, he asked his mom if he could get a more expensive one that wouldn’t break easily. His mom said no to the expensive bike, so to make money, he started doing bike repairs. His side job went well, and within the same year, he was able to buy his dream bike.

Everyone Should Lend a Hand
We are not living in the world alone. Everyone is connected in a family, a group or a community. So we should lend a hand when others are in need to make everyone’s life easier.
I have got help from many people. When I have trouble learning English, my friend Lisa gives me some good advice. When I feel sick, my parents take care of me. I feel very lucky to have people by my side.
I have also helped others. For example, when my classmate Jack lost his schoolbag yesterday, I helped him find it. And he was so thankful to me.
If everyone lends a hand, the world will become a better place.
