Lead - in

1.Greet students and engage them in a brief discussion about

their hobbies and interests.

2.Ask students if they know what a school club is and share

some examples of clubs they my have heard of.

1a

1.Have students read the comments from Alice,Lin Hui,and Jack in 1a.

2.Ask students to discuss in pairs which clubs they think Alice Lin Hui，and Jack should jain based on their comments.

3.invite several pairs to share their ideas with the class and justify their choices.

1b

1. Guide students to read the club ads in 1b Ask students to match each student in 1a with a suitable club from 1b and justify their choices.Encourage students to use the information in the comments and the club ads to make their decisions.
2. Explain new words and language points by teaching and giving some examples.

1c

1.Direct students to read the dub ads again and extract key information to complete the table in 1c. Monitor students as they fill in the table and provide assistance where needed

2.Have a few students share their completed tables with the

class.

Discuss the questions.

1. What food can you cook? What other food do you want to learn to cook?

2. What can you learn from a book club?

3. What do you want to do in a nature club?

4. Which of the clubs do you want to join and why?

5. Which club are you in at school? What do you do there?

语言点精讲

1.I'm   interested   in   nature.

(1)be interested in sth.意为“对某事(物)感兴趣”; be  interested  in  doing  sth.意为“对做某事感兴趣”。

例句：I'm  interested  in  the  film.   我对这部电影感兴趣。

First,she  said  she  was  interested  in  reading  and  writing  stories.

首先，她说她对阅读和写故事感兴趣。

( 2 ) 辨 析 interseted   与 interesting

interested     感兴趣的，常表示某人对某事物感兴趣，常说明人，常做表语， I'm  interested  in  music.我对音乐感兴趣。

interesting 令人感兴趣的；有趣的，常表示某物具有令人感兴趣的特征，常说明事物。 可做表语和定语

The  game  is  really  interesting.这个游戏确实有趣。

(3)nature       不可数名词，意为“大自然；自然界 例句： We love nature and we often go camping.

我们热爱大自然并且我们经常去野营。

扩展：natural  形容词，意为“自然的”。

The  city  has  a  good  natural  environment.
