Will you be free tomorrow?

She is living abroad.

She quietly left the room.

I don't quite agree with you. (表示程度) When did you see her last?

He speaks English very well.

I often get up at six in the morning.

He went home yesterday./Yesterday he went home.

I'll be back in five minutes.

I must be off now.

Is the radio on or off?

He looks very angrily.

f:He looks very angry.

Mr.Smith is very carefully.

1:Mr.Smith is very careful.

英语中可用作表语的副词主要是表地点的副词以及某些与介词同形的副词,常见 的 有here, there, up, down, away, nearby, back, in, home, ahead, upstairs, downstairs, off, through, on, over等。

误 :He seems here./He seems away. 正:He is here./He is away.

It's hot in here. It's not far from here.

I'll stay at home tonight.

副词用作宾语的用法十分有限,通常只用作介词宾语,并且只限于某些表示时间 和地点的副词,而且不同的副词有不同的搭配特点,如here和 there可 与along, around, down, from, in, near, round, up 等介词连用,但通常不与介词to 连用,如不说come to here, go to there 等 。

注意:有一个例外就是from here to there。

Please ask him in, please.

I’m pleased to see you back.

Is there anything on tonight?

The people there were very friendly.

The girl dances very well.

We must work hard.

He does his work very carefully.

I want to see the film very much.

He angrily closed the door.

He has just left for work.

We have already read the book.

He never reads such books.

He often comes to school late./He is often late for school.

She always was late.

Very often the phone rings when I’m in the bath.

Do you go to the cinema very often?

Always remember this.

Never tell him the news.

He doesn't usually come here./He usually doesn't come here.

She doesn't always come late.

He is sometimes not satisfied with my work.

Tom alone is coming.

Tom is coming alone.

Only I kissed her last night.

I only kissed her last night.

I kissed only her last night.

I kissed her only last night [last night only].

(3)  修饰right, wrong, impossible, alone  等不可分级的形容词,通常只用quite, 而不 用rather 或 very 。

You're quite right(wrong).

That's quite impossible.

3.sometime, some time, sometimes

I will go home sometime [some time]next week.

I will write again some time.

We lived in the country for some time.

(3)sometimes

He sometimes comes very late.

It's almost  [nearly]impossible.

It's almost [nearly]10 o'clock.

He is almost [nearly]as tall as her.

Almost [Nearly]all the students passed the exam.

(2)  用于any以及 no, none, nobody, nothing, never 等否定词前,可用almost, 但不能用nearly。如:

Almost any man can do it.

He has almost no money.

fast(快)    faster      fastest

soon (快)   sooner     soonest

early(早)   earlier      earliest

quietly(悄悄地)

carefully(仔细地)

more quickly     most quickly

more quietly     most quietly

more carefully    most carefully
